The Spinarack that you fight against have frowny faces on their abdomens, but your own Spinarack have smiley faces on their abdomens.

Remember when Spinirak was purple? Apparently it was something to do with GS being poorly optimised. That's what the Dr. Lava tweet says at least. I just thought it was supposed to be that way because it was dark outside.

It's odd how Spinarak's faces are different between the front and the back.

spinarak is able to change its markings' expression, just as a thing it can do.

This sprite is so cool, the fire on the back really makes it look like an actual fire type, something that the 3D model fails to do, it also just looks so full of life, which is what most bw sprites do but especially this one

The 3D model does actually light up, it just only does so during attacks.

You can't just look at

and think you have the full picture.

Garchomp 4th gen back sprite looks amazing in every way. It's this one which shows part of his arm; HOWEVER, in the games it doesn't show it and Garchomp just looks like it's just weirdly leaning diagonally, and I find that hilarious.

Wobbuffet's secondary sprite in HGSS is so damn funny. It looks like it's been trying to explain something for an hour and they're not understanding it and it's getting very frustrated.

TIL Kangaskhan holds its baby in its arms for its Gen 2 and 3 backsprites, with the first one being from the Diamond/Pearl prototype.

The unused Marowak evolution backsprite from the Red/Blue beta also has a visible Cubone in its pouch.

I love the redesign of Charizard's model from Gen 8 to Gen 9. It went from a regular-looking dragon to a fiercer one. The longer, thinner snout, the rougher edges, and its facial expression all make Charizard more menacing than before.
