I see on that part. Though if you ask me, using a certain glitch to short cut from one area to another is not helpful for most since I consider it just skipping. Getting high leveled pokemon on the other hand, is a case by case since I don't know how that could run with the exp of the gamer.

the level 100 glitch requires the mew glitch, which requires abra, which can take forever to find

The way I understand it, at least in Yellow there's a long-range trainer to do the Mew glitch in Viridian Forest, which means you can use an Escape Rope and do it before the first gym, no Abra necessary.
