Can anyone explain to me just how this draft is supposed to work? Will we need to message the team owners and have them play test us in order to secure a spot on one of the teams or something else?
In order to get drafted, contact or join one of the managers IRC channels, and try out for the team.
When the draft is going on, if the manager you tried out with found you really good, or particularly memorable - then they'll bid for you.
If you get picked for a team, then you'll be contacted and (probably) Tagged in a post once the draft is over.

1st match: Lack of teambuilding experience, evident by you using Good Morgan's RMT from XY. It's also versus someone who may or may not be Starmaster.
2nd match: Against someone else who may or may not be Starmaster
3rd match: Sken's RMT, your opponent is using a goddamn Poochyena

And I obviously beat Starmaster cuz he's a scrub. Again drafting me for only 3k is a steal since I should be getting at least 9001.
