This team is built around the offensive core of Hydreigon + Dragapult and the defensive core of Clefable + Toxapex + Corviknight, with a little Scizor on top to add a bit more spice, the general core and sets are very standard but it is still worth explaining, NP Hydreigon and Specs Dragapult have incredible synergy when teaming up so that they can easily beat up their common shaky checks like Clefable or Mandibuzz, this synergy is further complemented by Scizor which is also very effective at luring some mons like Toxapex for Hydreigon to boost up on, After Hydreigon has removed or at least heavily chunked the defensive backbone of the opponent either Scizor or Dragapult can clean up depending on their team composition.
These three scary guys have the classic ClefPexCorv core to fall back on, while it has fallen out of favor it still is incredibly effective as Nidoking and its usage have plummeted in recent times, covering top threats like Kyurem, Dragapult, Rillaboom and others. The only change to standards sets is that I am using T wave instead of knock off in Clef as I am not lacking in Heatran switchins and the added Speed Control and boost to Dragapul's Hex is much better. The team is in general very resiliant with many forms of reliable recovery, it functions with the idea of stacking a bunch of soft counters to the whole meta, eg: If Volcarona isn't carrying Psychic it is completely owned by Haze Toxapex and if it is Clefable can paralyze it and NP Hydreigon can win the 1v1 without Hax. This whole philosophy is also in mind when handling other threats like Tapu Lele and CM Clefable.
Games will definetively won't be very fast with this team as it requiers slow play to scout the sets of the opponent and wear down the opposition for a clean up, but at the end of the day it is still a very consistent team that I like.
