We have a winner in HydreigonTheChild with their acrobatics zarude submission! Congratulations, your submission will be added to the Hall of Fame. Now, lets see the threat you all have to lure for this week
:ss/Zarude-Dada:
MONKE FLIP (Zarude-Dada) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Power Whip
- Darkest Lariat
- Jungle Healing
- U-turn

We have the funny monkey zarude! Zarude has been making big splashes in UU. With a resistance to water, ground, electirc, and ghost attacks alongside an amazing STAB combination of dark and grass, zarude is a top threat in the current meta. Boots sets can act as a fantastic status absorber and check to aegislash while scarf sets are the best revenge killer in the tier, being able to dispatch other top threats like keldeo and lycanroc-d thanks to its high speed tier. The set that will be looked at is its Jungle Healing Pivot set. How will you be able to lure this threat? Submissions are due Saturday June 5 at 11:59 PM PST

Mew @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 196 HP / 60 Spa / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Bug Buzz
- Spikes
- Soft-Boiled

Zarude does not take from mew and can jungle healing all status and threaten it with darkest lariet, not if its bug buzz and blows it back

60+ SpA Mew Bug Buzz vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Zarude: 316-376 (90 - 107.1%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO

reserving polteageist

Polteageist @ Focus Sash
Timid Nature
Ability: Weak Armor
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Shell Smash
- Shadow Ball
- Stored Power
- Hyper Beam

destroy it. hyper beam always kills unless you are unlucky af and they get the 6% roll

+2 252 SpA Polteageist Hyper Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Zarude: 347-409 (98.8 - 116.5%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

:ss/Aegislash:
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 212 SpD / 44 Spe
Calm Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Toxic
- Close Combat
- King's Shield / Substitute

I know this looks super janky, but it actually works. Mystras Leoxses tested this for like a million games and said that CC on spdef helps with this kinda stuff. In particular, CC 2HKO's Zarude, but once is enough to discourage it from coming in again on anything really, and it cannot even safely click Jungle Healing without risking being KO'd. Irrelevant to this project, but this set is also applicable to ease the matchup vs Teleport Chansey.

0- Atk Aegislash-Blade Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zarude: 200-236 (56.9 - 67.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0- Atk Aegislash-Blade Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Chansey: 410-484 (58.2 - 68.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (boots, aka bad chansey)
0- Atk Aegislash-Blade Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 274-324 (38.9 - 46%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (just knock this, ez)

Its time to vote! Down below are the submissions for this week
Bug Buzz Mew by HydreigonTheChild
Hyper Beam Polteageist by Lolito
King Shield + Toxic + Close Combat Aegislash by Sickist
Skitter Smack Zydog by Mygrein
Choice Scarf Primarina by UrAverageHuman
:Krookodile: by Mystras Leoxses- I liked the concept of skitter smack krook. However, this has one big issue: why would I run it over close combat? Skitter smack only 2HKOs Zarude, and the same applies to Close Combat. You're basically restricting your coverage for no major benefit. And since Close Combat is fairly standard on choice scarf krookodile I will have to unfortunately disqualify this submission

Voting ends June 7 at 11:59 PM PST. My vote is for Skitter smack zydog

Voting is up! Congrats to HydreigonTheChild for winning the week with an incredible amount of votes. Your submission will be added to the Hall of Fame shortly. Now, lets introduce the threat you have to lure for this week!
:ss/Rotom-Wash:
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

This week we have the washer! Rotom-W has been a staple of underused since april 2020, and its not hard to see why. Its a great defensive pivot being able to answer top threats like celesteela, mamoswine, and gyarados while also being one of the few methods of hazard control in the tier. Its ability to form powerful voltturn cores with pokemon like scizor, mienshao, or zarude allow it to fit on plenty of teams. How will you lure this threat? Submissions are due April 12 at 11:59 PM PST

Power Herb Moltres?!
:ss/moltres:
Moltres @ Power Herb
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Solar Beam
- Air Slash
- Flamethrower
- Roost

The solar beam moltres is the only way...washtom is incredibly comfortable switching around moltres thanks to it resisting its dual stabs but with the power herb solar beam not only can you catch it on the switch but since it loves to use Volt Switch in its face you can easily win the 1v1, boots are overrated like bro just keep rocks off your side.
You can use this set with boots in sun teams but you lose a significant amount of flex by doing so.

CALCS
252 SpA Moltres Solar Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 240-284 (78.9 - 93.4%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

mew can jsut leaf storm rotom-wash which is a 2hko

44+ SpA Mew Leaf Storm over 2 turns vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 306-360 (100.6 - 118.4%) -- guaranteed KO in 2 turns after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Rotom-Wash Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 124-147 (30.6 - 36.3%) -- 59.3% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery and burn damage

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 100 Atk / 156 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Fire Punch
- Energy Ball

You can easily bluff scarf while U-turning everywhere, and since Rotom-Wash can hard check normal Scarf Jirachi, add in an Energy Ball instead of Healing Wish because why not. Iron Head and U-turn are standard and Fire Punch is for Steels.

156 SpA Jirachi Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 144-170 (47.3 - 55.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
