This list is not as comprehensive as our standard viability rankings, as this metagame is still fresh and we're not sure how it may evolve over the coming weeks. This resource is just meant to serve as a general guideline so that teambuilding is a little less chaotic in these early stages of the metagame.
The rankings will be divided into five groups this time. These are:

The rankings will be divided into five groups this time. These are:
Amazing Tier: The best Pokemon in the tier. You will see these commonly when playing games, and they will consistently perform their role. They must always be accounted for when teambuilding.
Great Tier: These Pokemon are strong on their own merits and can pull their weight most of the time, but may require more support than Pokemon in the Amazing Tier, or may be less consistent.
Good Tier: These Pokemon have defined niches in the metagame and are excellent at what they do, but may only fit on specific team styles and structures, or may lack game-to-game consistency.
Viable Tier: These Pokemon have smaller niches in the metagame and can be used to fill specific roles, but are held back by their lacking consistency and are less common as a result.
UU But Not Viable: These Pokemon either have no niche in UU or are completely outclassed by another Pokemon in the tier. There is no point in using them on a competitive team, as something else will almost always do their job better.
