Gorm seems to know what he's talking about, let him and hip sort this out, besides, I don't trust obi.
currently we have 8 for gormenghast and 3 for obi. there are 33 players left. so i need 17 to settle on one.
man I have been trying to wrap my head around this but it just doesnt make sense for one reason: obi isnt dumb.
yet he has been playing dumb all game
It is almost as if he wants people to believe hes mafia. There is no way he legitimately thinks he can just gain the trust of everyone by saying a random is mafia, when a different inspector has already been established.
Since his name was bolded in the night blurb there, I am taking that to mean he was a target to be killed, but did not die for some reason, and instead killed judgement. Unless im totally misunderstanding these things now, I have to admit im getting very confused xD
Since judgement was an ST its kind of safe to assume obi isnt empire. But in his post he notes that the empire didnt make a kill? where is he getting that from.
Now as a conclusion to his madness I have to say i think he is a "mundungus fletcher" type role for sure. I think he has ways to protect himself from dying, and using this inspector ploy he plans to weed out the mafia. If he can convince dumb mafia players that he is an inspector, the mafia players will come up with some excuse to lynch obi. This could be his plan.
Obi doesnt want to die, and he isnt dumb. There is much more to this plan than "gormenghast is mafia". I have no idea if he is worth trusting though. Maybe he has the power to kill and he targeted judgement and judgement targetted him, and obi has priority. There is just too many possibilities.

I'm sick of playing this game of cat and mouse, sorry gorm since you already have more votes against you I'm going to lynch you to end this, and Obi if you are wrong please understand that you will be fucking lynched on the next day until nothing is left of your fucking blood vessels because they've all BURST

I think that kind of logic is dumb ("if we lynch you and you're innocent then at least we have someone to lynch next day").

I don't know who to believe at this point but I think waiting would be the best thing for now. I don't want to kill any innocents. If they're active in the game, like gorm is, then he isn't a "useless random".
I'm not defending him, or anyone else, so I hope this doesn't come back and bite me in the ass later, but if any of these people are innocent I would rather not lynch any of them.

He claimed to me that he is Jaster Mareel, a Mandalorian. I think he screwed up with that, because he seemed to think that the mandalorians were the people who made the clones, when they are actually the clones themselves. The Fetts were mandalorians. My current best guess is that Obi is Boba Fett, apparently Boba Fett used the name Jaster Mareel as an alias at some point (I have been googling!).
The other thing is the nature of the role he claimed. Jaster Mareel is an extremely obscure character. The most obscure other character we have come across so far is Greedo. And he was a talking role in the original movie..
The only remote possibility that Obi is not a mafia, is if he is a wolf type role. A true mercenary perhaps! Well, I dont see any reason at this point to keep him alive.. He may be a big asset as an ally, but he would be a huge threat as an enemy. At this point, I am not willing to take that risk..

Also Porygon3 (and gorm!) I didn't mean to say that gorm's literally useless, but in the grand scheme of things the only thing a random has is their power in numbers. I agree though, gorm has been fairly active.

I am sorry that this time I cant explain why we should do this, but I am much more certain that he is mafia than Gorm or Obi, and quite frankly, I am pretty certain on both of those counts..

Alright Hip, i'm with you. I don't like this, but it makes sense. Besides, if gorm DOES turn out to be mafia, then it's useful having Obi around.
