BSS Subseed Breloom

[SET]
name: SubSeed
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Leech Seed
move 3: Protect / Spore
move 4: Bulldoze / Spore
item: Toxic Orb
ability: Poison Heal
nature: Impish
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
tera type: Water / Fire

[SET COMMENTS]

* With Poison Heal, Breloom can act as a pivot versus defensive Pokemon such as Dondozo and Umbreon as it is unaffected by Yawn.

* This set can catch opponents expecting the more popular Focus Sash set off guard. However, do note that this set is very susceptible to Taunt and Encore, which can make it difficult to even select Breloom in the team preview phase.

* **Protect**: Protect gives Breloom an opportunity to scout out its opponents and further stall them out once Leech Seed has been set up.

* **Timer Stalling**: If you obtain a numerical advantage early in the match, you can utilize Breloom to win on timer. This is particularly effective since the Leech Seed damage happens after recovery from Leftovers and Poison Heal.

* **Bulldoze**: Bulldoze allows Breloom to further support its teammates and threaten Gholdengo, which likes to absorb status moves. Do be wary that many Gholdengo are Tera Flying, which can render Breloom ineffective versus it.

Other Options
========

* **Toxic**: Toxic can be difficult to fit into the set, but it allows Breloom to punish Tera Grass foes that attempt to circumvent Breloom's Spore and Leech Seed.

Tera Types
========

* **Water**: This defensive Tera type allows Breloom to resist Baxcalibur's Icicle Spear and Skeledirge's Torch Song.

* **Fire**: This Tera type allows Breloom to resist Ice- and Fire-type attacks while also providing Breloom with a Fairy-type resistance. With Toxic, Breloom is able to fight back against common Grass-type switch-ins. However, this type has more weaknesses when compared to Water.

EV Spreads
========

* **252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe with Impish**: This spread allows for maximum physical bulk.

* **156 HP / 100 Def / 252 Spe with Jolly**: This spread allows for maximum Speed and can survive a Choice Band Extreme Speed from Tera Normal Dragonite after Stealth Rock.

* **204 HP / 164 Def / 140 Spe with Impish**: This spread hits a Speed stat of 108 which ties 4 Spe Adamant Baxcalibur. Furthermore, the defensive investment means that after Terastallization, Breloom's Substitute has a high chance of surviving three hits from Baxcalibur's Icicle Spear.

Honestly the only slightly major change I would suggest is changing the Tera Fire bullet to explain why you'd use it over Tera Water. Off the top of my head, the Fairy resist is the BIG one, as well as being able to resist Fire-type attacks without getting smacked by Grass-type coverage (aka watch out for Iron Moth and Volcarona lol). Could also mention that the downside is that you get a nasty Stealth Rock weakness if you want.

Otherwise this looks perfect to me, make that change on the Tera Fire section and I think this is good to go!
