Jiggly is Purin but Lucario isn't Rukario. Also, DK is Donkey and Bowser is Koopa, both are their Japanese names. Why is it that Lucario is listed as the English name when the others aren't?

The same reason Lizardon isn't spelled "Rizardon" in the game (despite the fact that I've seen it spelled like that before outside SSBB): pronunciation issues. Lucario should still be Lucario's Japanese name, but they pronounce it "Rukario", and thus we translated the Japanese name as such.

Very well. Also, does anybody know if there is a list/guide/whatever that says how to unlock the characters (sans Wolf)? I'm not going to look into stages or music right now, just wondering from all the character leaks. (Also, I believe we can confirm Brawl is dualdisc now, as that's what NyaseNya said, and they were our first real leaker).

Agreeing with Firestorm (though Krystal could've been unique I suppose). Mii would've pissed me off more than ROB ever did.
 
Holy fucking shit this topic got about 6 new pages today!

The reason is that the ISO is now out on the hacking scene. Annoying that Jap iso's don't work on PAL Wii's...

Anyway remember Purin and Koopa, so Toon Link may not stick :p

Not necessarily, a few different region isos worked on my pal wii (pbr, galaxy, metroid prime).

And the ISO posted was a fake, it was a 'demo' but still wasnt a proper thing.

Fingers crossed.
 
I personally hope he gets called anything else (sounds like a name you'd hear on a roster with 20 Sonic characters, Midna, and Sylux), but I doubt it. Also, don't forget "Robot".

Also, I too wanted the anime's FALCON PAUNCH!!!!!!!¡ despite the fact that I don't like anime. It's that epic.

we joked about it in #smogon a few hours ago, navi would have been a lovely character just so we could beat the shit out of it >:( It would have its oft used in oot final smash, HEY, LISTEN where it flies to the top of the screen and says HEY LISTEN over and over until everyone kills themselves
