My WIP contest entry for another site. The theme is zombies!

Rules limit the entry to only 10 colors, but I'm planning on expanding this sprite and making two versions, one for the contest, and another with more colors and an expanded sheet.

I need another color for the main skin, so I'm gonna swap out the lightest hue of red with a midtone of the skin so I can achieve harmony and bla bla bla.
 
Have you considered aa'ing the skin into the red as opposed to adding an outline to the skin around it? It looks kinda like gradients :S
I'd have more to say if I wasn't so tired at the moment. Good luck at the TSR compo~
 
Ah, there's an idea to toy with tomorrow night.

I was gonna rid myself of the outlines eventually, but I just wanted to make sure the base colors were all down first.

@KoA: Is that entire thing scratched? All I can say is: Holy crud. The thing definately needs some more shading, though. Can't wait to see the more detailed version.

@Fireburn: I can try your request. I've been wanting to do a Shadow Lugia for quite some time, actually.

@Everyone: Yay. Three more entries to the GD: Shiftry, Roserade, and Blastoise. If someone would like to see a certain Pokemon in the GD, then post it, since I'm picking them through the Sprite Generator, and it might take a while otherwise.

@KoA- Gooooood god. I don't think I've ever been so freaked out by a sprite. That's amazing.

@Everyone else- What Pokemon should I use for my second scratch? I can't decide. =/

Personally, I would like to see you scratch one of your own original designs. Doing so is so much better practice as far as scratching goes.

And here are two example sprites both of which have the polor opposites in shade of purple

So in other words you should have a darker purple.

Also, the sprite I used for Recolor Purposes was the Lugia Animation Sprite, seen for around 2 seconds when it is thrown into battle.

Looks good, but if you look at the picture CrAZyMONkeYZ posted, the gray part of the eyes don't have the same shape as lugias. It has like little jagged parts, I guess you would call them that. If you can, try to do that.

Like...a fakemon? Because I do have some of those. =3

Also, just a heads-up to you guys...I might not be on as much for the next few days. My computer seems to have come down with a virus. D=
