Thanks. I know that Red and Blue didn't use colors on the gameboy, but they did in the Pokemon Stadium Gameboy Tower. My sprites are more or less in the atrocious style of Green while actually looking like what they are supposed to. I read somewhere that the Yellow sprites were redesigned to reseble the way they appeared in the anime, and that's not what I'm going for. But I understand where you're coming from.

I can't offer as much help as people like Canti and Headpunch can. But things that I noticed right away:
The shading is pretty good, if not a little rough in places. It's solid. TBH, I don't know what Porygon-Z is supposed to be shaded like, but the way you did it makes it look glossy.
The outline is crooked simetimes. It's the most noticeable on the tip of his lower arm and the body right below that.
Those are just my observations...I'm not an expert at this stuff. It's overall a pertty good sprite. Ask the others for more in-depth stuff. ^_^;
I should really get the motivation to try a scratch of my own...

Looks good, but I still noticed a few things, mainly sizing/shaping issues. The body, first of all, is a little to big in comparison with the limbs and tail. The stripe on the body also is too wide to the left. If you made the cut off the dark blue part of the stripe and replaced it with red, it would look better. The tail should also be a bit bigger at the end. Finally, the tips of the arms are a little blocky. It would prob. look better if you erased a few pixels off of the end and then rounded it out.

EDIT: I might be able to do Metina-O, although if it's not done by the end of the day, it'll be up next week. I'm going to a weekend-long convention today. :)

I might give that a shot. It'll be a little difficult due to the massive difference in the sprite size, though.
