The biggest let-down is the lack of attention to the legs. The shading is all wrong.
Not yet IMO. Seems to be a lot more bird than plant which is bad if you're going for a balance.

I dunno, I still think it's not as good as it could be. Both arms facing inwards make it look weird, mainly because his head is looking to the left. It's mismatched.There, I fixed it up a bit
