So does anybody else want to do the Pokemon/Series thing? I dont know a game to chose, so does anybody have any suggestions. And would somebody like to help? Like ideas and if a fusion is too hard/dont have time.

Gamefreak made a walrus and named it Walrein. Also, Slice n Dice's avatar is a Raikou/Walrein fusion.

eww. that doesnt look very cool. its got a meh factor, and i dont see what you were going for with it. eh, it looks half decent.
 
DWC whats wrong with "paint ballin" its a slang, And you know what im leaving this thread its so boring now , bye people.

Hello i just joined and id like to make sprites and show things to you guys so hopefully your like some of my sprites, Im in the middle of making one right now, I make Scizors Please if i do something wrong please tell me whats wrong what i did

Two things:

1. Not enough black outlines.
2. Make sure when you are adding parts that fit the shading of the base.

Other than that, good.
 
It just comes out like that somehow. When I use the eraser style first, it takes longer to do, because I get confused by what goes where, but when I do colors after, the whole color thing gets fucked up. If I zoom in.

Sceptile, and Charizard look fine, the others I agree are messed up. I'll fix them later after I do more

#1. NO JPG! save it as PNG.
#2 the sprites are too simple. watch and read some tuts so you can better yourself at spriting.

thanks, it was getting crowded in here because an unearned sense of self accomplishment was kinda hovering around the thread.

Hello, welcome to the Smogon Sprites Hotel. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Since you're new, I really recommend you read the forum rules. As long as you stick to those, you'll be fine around here. Also, try to use slightly more coherent English. The extra effort is worth it; poor English just means people are less likely to take you seriously.

EDIT: They're a bit simple, but you've got some potential. With practice you'll get much better. And on the first one, what's that purple mess in the back?

its supposed to be a Gastly's smoke, it did not come out great.

definately needs more change. all there is for change other than color is the fire. you could have added the head, eyes, and alot of other things. try to work on that, because it looks just like a plain recolor.

The quality of the sprites on this thread is way, WAY higher than the rest of the Internet (youtube is easily the worst). For some good examples, look at some of the older pages in the thread. I'll show you a few of my best sprites as well.

These may be some of my best, but for really good examples take a look at GTS or Shineenigma's work. Those two are probably the most talented spriters here.
