confirming as aaagj rare pepe. shoutout to Ivar57 , this was my first time playing a decent bit of AAA and your team made it easy once I stopped clicking fire moves on corviknight. I felt like I had outplay potential in most matchups, so kudos to you for the nice build. Shoutouts to all the random dazzling mons that caused this run to be miserable. As for Gholdengo, I will be voting ban because of the insane set variety that it has, which causes every game you play against it in to feel like a dice roll if it has one of the abilities and/or moves that just runs over your team. It can pick and choose between its counters too easily and it's come to a point where people are using sets like vessel of ruin umbreon and bulletproof rotom wash just to handle gholdengo reliably.

Also if Gholdengoes then Baxcalibur should get banned cuz that mon is stupid.

Leaning towards ban since right now it feels like with the amount of versatilty Gholdengo offers in the teambuilder right now, it limits a lot of the actual counterplay you can do against it. Two of the 4 games I lost while getting reqs are because there's just no way I could outplay my opponent's (same guy both games) EE Gholdengo + WBB Kingambit with my team once it revealed that his Gholdengo had Thunder Wave + Hex instead of Shadow Ball. Conversely, a lot of my games are won because once my Bulletproof Gholdengo comes in on the opponent's Shadow Ball Gholdengo, my joe just gets two free turns to setup sub and nasty plot to remove one or two mons and snowball from there.

Used this mono choice item team for ~90% of my run. Partially a meme team, but it actually puts in a lot of work - your positioning just has to really be spot-on. Tusk set can honestly be anything (Regen, Water Absorb, TC, etc.); I just got incredibly sick of Iron Moth and Cinderace. Three of four of my Ls were from me switching teams and losing to Beads of Ruin Palkia-O-lite three times in a row on Monday.

Not sure what I'll vote. Leaning very slightly ban. I don't really mind Ghold's defensive flexibility that much. The set that pushes Ghold into suspect/ban territory for me is MGLO. Nigh impossible to switch into; outdamages most if not all Regen-Vest users aside from weird shit like Regen-Vest Chi-Yu. Random Bulletproof Steel resists would be your next best bet. I actually don't think Bulletproof Steel-types are that bad as you also have the bonus of dealing with most Gengar sets and Polteageist sets, but 1) if you have to mention immunity abilities as your most reliable means of dealing with something (see: Gen 8 Blacephalon, Gen 9 Iron Bundle/Walking Wake), it needs to go and 2) I also see Gengar being an issue later on while Dark-types dogwalk Poltea save for those oddball Pixilate sets.

Off the top of my head, I also don't see HOME introducing real defensive answers aside from maybe SpDef Regen Heatran. Only slightly leaning ban since I also never found it that difficult to pressure/threaten an RK against (even with the threat of immunity abilities) compared to Great Tusk and +1/+1 Baxcalibur - two mons that certainly need to go regardless of whether Gholdengo does.

hello hello, just posting a bunch of replays I had recently using MGLO Ghold (with that team https://pokepast.es/d509d194662d70b6 which is boring af but reliable) and if any DNB person can explain how this mon is balanced I would be thanful ! (I added some others I found/had with other sets, you can refer to Siamato's post if you want other examples)

Anyway I'm too lazy to go through all the replays but if you want to have a serious opinion about that suspect and not whatever you felt by playing 25 random games against the ladder, you probably should take a look :p
