Resource SV LC Sample Teams

Not open for further replies.
Hey LC, i'm back.
:sv/mienfoo::sv/timburr:
the Mienfoo + Timburr or "Fightspam" breaking core aims to lure fighting checks (Mareanie, Foongus, Snubbull, Koffing) and trade. This enables the other fighter to make massive progress.

:mienfoo::timburr::foongus::vullaby::mudbray::stunky:

"Skrelp"

What did we learn?
:sv/mienfoo::sv/timburr:
this strategy invests 2 teamslots and one of them is S-tier. this makes it extremely easy to complement most defensive cores, without a steep opportunity cost. fightspam also brings vital utility, with Defog as an option on Timburr. however, the breaking power leaves something to be desired, and Timburr suffers from coverage FOMO. i think this strategy is B+ in viability, mostly carried by Mienfoo.

Thank you for the support, i enjoy making these types of posts.

:sv/drifloon::sv/greavard::sv/zorua-hisui:
next time i will build around some of the ghost types of the tier!!

Please don't be like me, be better than me. These ideas are far from optimal and I share them to inspire you to create something better.
Thank you.
:mienfoo::timburr::crabrawler::tinkatink::toedscool::mareanie:

Hey LC, im still working on the ghost type post. stay tuned folx
:diglett-alola::toedscool::vullaby::glimmet::foongus::stunky:
for now, i want to suggest this team as a sample because
A) it is easy to use. there are multiple answers to each common threat, and several diverging win paths.
B) this team is flexible and sets can be edited easily without disrupting the defensive integrity, which allows new players to experiment and learn.
C) this team teaches new players about the threat ecosystem of SV LC through playing. (poison types, ground types, knock off, sleep, hazard war, speed tiers, etc)

this team is designed to be non-linear, and intended to be adjusted according to meta trends.

Drifting, please update

Hey LC. i am back to carry this thread. today we will talk about ghost types.

:sv/zorua-hisui::sv/drifloon:
the ghost types in current SVLC meta are not the best, and the reason for that is complicated.
1.:mienfoo::vullaby::stunky:
these are 3 of the best pokemon in the tier and they are very common, thanks in part to the power and utility of K.Off. additionally, most pokemon will choose to run K.Off if they can.
2.:vullaby::foongus::meowth:
there is an injoke in SVLC: "vullaby is the best ghost type in the tier". the ghost type has a lot of defensive utility with 2 key type immunities and immunity to trapping. these traits are more often situationally useful and many pokemon will run tera ghost to take advantage on crucial turns instead of using a teamslot on a weaker ghost type pokemon. in this way, the ghost types are in competition with vullaby.
3.:gastly::misdreavus::gimmighoul:
most of the ghost types do not have the appropriate stats to be viable. they are either too weak, too frail, too slow.
we saw an example of what a good ghost type looks like earlier on in the meta with gastly, and it was the best pokemon in the tier up until it was banned.

Hey LC, we are still teambuilding. I'm gonna clear my builder for Jan 1 so i will post everything thats good enough to remember.
I'd like to remind y'all that this is my opinion of my own work and I am in no way perfect. Everything here could be improved upon and i hope you are inspired to do so.

CAC STACK
:mienfoo::vullaby::chinchou::sandshrew-alola::cacnea::snubbull:

ive been using chespin a lot and i think the hazard stack gameplan that chespin enables is exceedingly good. however, chespin lacks coverage options and offensive firepower. this makes it somewhat restrictive in the teambuilder and so i was looking for alternatives.

:sv/cacnea:
+Def Cacnea Theory
Cacnea @ Eviolite

Ability: Water Absorb
Level: 5
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 36 HP / 196 Def / 36 SpD / 236 Spe
Bold / Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Trailblaze
- Destiny Bond

- Bullet Seed
- Sucker Punch
- Giga Drain
- Encore
- Counter
- Poison Jab
- Body Slam
- Swords Dance
def cacs job is to enter on ground types (mudbray) and establish spikes. without access to synthesis for recovery, cac is a temporary resource with a deep bag of tricks.

in my opinion, the best way to take advantage of this toolkit is to change the moves frequently. you must leverage the information imbalance with confidence. keep them guessing, and keep spiking for free

in an emergency, with tera steel and water absorb, cacnea can wall every common shellder set

:sv/mienfoo::sv/vullaby::sv/chinchou:
i always want to stress that YOU CAN BUILD TOO! its not as hard as it seems. for example, this offensive core is extremely basic and easy to use. fast foo, phys vull, fast chou. i made 2 small changes: roost -> endure on vull, hydro -> scald on chou. otherwise, these are sample sets.

:sv/sandshrew-alola::sv/snubbull:
since cacnea is not immune to sludge bomb, i added safety goggles alolashrew as a true foongus counter. snubbull is here to give a fighting resist and speed control.

and here i win with it in r6 of lc ssnl

SEASONS CHANGE
:stunky::wingull::snover::glimmet::toedscool::torchic:

I wasn't gonna post this one, but it quickly became one of my favorite teams. its non-linear, intricate and uses out-of-the-box thinking to solve common matchups. It took several disconnected epiphanies to create this, so i hope you appreciate it.

:sv/snover:
Scarf Snover Theory
Spring Equinox (Snover) @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Snow Warning
Level: 5
Tera Type: Ground / Psychic
EVs: 36 HP / 36 Def / 180 SpA / 36 SpD / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain
- Tera Blast
- Rain Dance
Scarf Snover's first 3 moves are so solid that it does not desire any other option. This makes Rain Dance genuinely viable in fringe scenarios. Coincidentally, this emulates the change in the weather that happens in my area in this time of year, hence the name : )

:sv/wingull:
Weather Abuse Gull
Wingull @ Life Orb
Ability: Rain Dish
Level: 5
Tera Type: Dark / Ghost
EVs: 36 Def / 236 SpA / 236 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 19 HP / 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Blizzard
- Hurricane

- Protect
I wish Wingull had drizzle. It would get banned lol. Obviously, Wingull uses weather support from Snover to fire off massive BP moves at 19 speed with little to no downside. The interesting part is that Snover's Snow Warning AND Rain Dance will both support Wingull in different use cases.

:sv/stunky:
This pokemon is practically an auto include with Wingull because it tends to pressure Wingull's checks (Chinchou, Elekid, Tinkatink, Mareanie).
This addition also makes up for a lack of Vullaby on the team.

:sv/glimmet::sv/toedscool::sv/torchic:
This is a basic balanced core which addresses the hazard war. HDB Torchic is a useful RK in the late game, so that Toedscool is not pinned into spinning in games that go for longer than usual. Slot Sunny Day over Substitute if you wanna get extra spicy.

Thats about it for me, thanks for playing LC!

hi LC,
why did you ban magby? now look what youve done.

MONOVULL PARASPIKES FUNNEL
:mienfoo::vullaby::gothita::ekans::chespin::tinkatink:

this team may seem semi-standard, but instead it is a fragile yet potent offensive structure. in past, magby was a big problem for this team, and the lines for beating it were very resource intensive. you would essentially need to sack a pokemon to get Gothita in safely, then twave so another pokemon could revenge later. so now u don't need to be concerned about that ig.

:sv/vullaby:
MonoVull Theory
Vullaby (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Weak Armor
Level: 5
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 236 SpA / 236 SpD / 36 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Iron Defense
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash (/ Dark Pulse / Tera Blast)
- Roost

MonoVull (or id+plot or Double Dance Vull) was a strong set in the recent past, including SM LC and some parts of SS LC. MonoVull fell out of style in each case as it started being expected and people began preparing to see it. as players adapted, MonoVull never really became unviable, although now it requires more support compared to other NP Vull variants.

this team is intended to create favorable win% for MonoVull against Foongus + Mudbray structures, but perhaps other MonoVull teams could exploit different defensive cores.

:sv/mienfoo:
Coverage Mienfoo
Mienfoo @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 5
Tera Type: Electric (/ Fairy / Ice)
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 HP
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- U-turn

- Tera Blast
Life Orb Tera Blast Foo, which i will now call Coverage Foo, is a set designed to take advantage of a lazy Vull lead into what would otherwise be a standard Foo. with LO and Tera STAB, Coverage Foo can threaten OHKO on 23hp15def Vull, the suggested spread. Electric Coverage Foo threatens Vull + Mare, but the other highlighted Tera types would threaten [Vull + Foo] for Fairy or [Vull + Foon + Bray] for Ice.

the clear downside is that you can no longer use your Foo defensively, which may upset some players habits. simply get good lol

:sv/gothita::sv/tinkatink:
these sets are somewhat standard, you should use them to specifically further the MonoVull wincon, nothing else matters. this means you may need to sack these pieces in an unintuitive line.

:sv/ekans:
Ekans @ Eviolite
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 5
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 76 HP / 4 Def / 164 SpD / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Glare
- Earthquake (/ Knock Off)
- Gunk Shot

- Substitute
Ekans is a fringe pick because it has very strong competition. however, the few tools or traits that Ekans has (16 speed, Intimidate, Glare, Knock Off) are enough to elevate it above UR to D or C rank, in my opinion. it can be played similar to Snubbull, except that you must be proactive about positioning it in a few mus.

i use it here to spread paralysis indiscriminately with Glare, including ground types like a-Dig and Bray. this speed control + turn denial may allow MonoVull to break away and autowin

:sv/chespin:
Chespin is the keystone of the entire operation. Spikes, huge Def stat and Bulletproof make Ches a blanket check to Foon + Bray, while also providing crucial hazard chip (in conj. with Tink) that allows MonoVull to break with resisted moves.

again i share this to give you knowledge and maybe inspire you to create a better team with these ideas. dont be like me be better! cya LC

Since a few people already asked in dms thought it would be better to do a small dump of some of the goth teams i used in LCBC.

https://pokepast.es/19d0ded7ed3ed3bc

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9lc-2275312389-m5qxn1bshgi6t1s2x36me1rzg4o4eu9pw

This tera fly goth sweeper is basically a fish for Mudbray as shown in the game, at +6 it still doesnt kill stuff like Snowshrew and Tink without prior chip so keep that in mind. I was reasonably confident my opponent wouldnt bring those mons for our game, and even if he did(or he didnt not bring mudbray), this Goth could then perform the usually trapper role on the Foongus or Mare without the team being compromised. I believe this is kind of a one time kind of trick but still pretty cool nevertheless. I believe we went Modest>Timid here cos some of the calcs with with timid werent as impressive especially on stuff resisting the tera fly blast. Also the initial tera blast before boosting to +6 was to cover for tera steel Mudbray possibility.

https://pokepast.es/7974b3010cb7f0b9

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen9lc-821570

Honestly one of the teams im most proud for having developed and was glad to have got a win with it for my team in finals. Basically this goth abuses and sets up on foongus as shown in the game. I was very confident my opponent would run a Foongus made team and the gamble paid off well. If he was to bring a Mare team i believe Goth still 1v1s it at the very least with CM boosts so all hope isnt lost. Had the goth idea itself for a few weeks but wasnt sure how to develop it into a team until i thought about the Eject Button Elekid idea. Elekid introduces some really cool properties to the team such as being a good speed control vs 19 speeders and also having Vital Spirit to block Spore, making the Eject button tech more reliable. Without going into too much detail there are some ways to deal with this Goth, one of the easier being tera Ghost Foong to escape Shadow tag. Stuff like Scarf Foo and prio spam are generally good as well, and options like tera elec or steel Vull can also prevent a sweep. Also not using Foong as well helps xd.

Want to give a big shoutout and credit to PolloAriosto for developing these specific Goth sets. We had some really good discussions and testing to really optimize the various techs here and big credit goes to him for his help.

Just made a crazy hyper offence team, bagged quite a few wins.

I like using the underrated or less used ones (well apart from mienfoo and foongus). This one's really off from the meta though.(but hey it's fun)
Espurr's really underrated though it's just as good if not better than mienfoo. This set of espurr can totally catch people off guard and counters the top mons of metagame like mienfoo, vullaby, mudbray and many other mons, it can just ohko these three with one nasty plot. Hope to see espurr get the spotlight it totally deserves lol.

Update: Just swapped foongus for this cute one( for the hazard removal basically not getting much value out of foongus anyway)

Hi everyone! Been a while since I've laddered in LC but had some good sucess with this squad. Team features double LO Totodile and Elekid!

I've used both grass and electric tera on the croc. Tera grass gives the croc a nice resistance to both grass and electric moves/status (ex: spore) which helps with set up. Also, this lets it set up vs. mudbray and foongus (which it ohko's each after getting +1 with liqudation or ice punch). Biggest plus about tera grass is that it gives you a surefire way to get through a mon like chinchou. Tera electric helps the croc get through waters like mareanie and wingull while providing a good resistance to electric attacks/status (ex: t-wave). Setting up on eviolite crabrawler and knocking it out afterwards never felt better.

The tera is up to your prefence but these two have given me the most success when used.

i hate foongus. i think playing the foongus war is very boring and i hate spore. it's not ban worthy, but i think it's very annoying and i hate it. so i built this team.

:sv/pawniard:

Pawniard @ Eviolite
Ability: Defiant
Level: 5
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 36 SpD / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch

pawniard is one of my favorite pokemon of all time. i just love its design.
substitute blocks status moves like thunder wave and spore (i hate foongus). steel is a very good defensive typing that foongus can't touch. it 2hkos the most annoying pokemon (i hate foongus) in the tier after a swords dance.
defiant is a great ability and makes it really good into snubbull. intimidate triggers defiant and iron head ohkos after that. defiant can also deter a mud shot from glimmet and a defog from vullaby.
pawniard isn't exactly a great vullaby check despite its steel typing. heat wave is scary and weak armor forces a sucker punch 50/50 after an iron head. late game, if you can knock vullaby and get rocks and a swords dance up, it's an ohko. but most of the time, shellos is the much better vullaby check.
i like ghost and flying teras, but vullaby can handle fighting types so i generally use flying.

:sv/vullaby:

Vullaby @ Eviolite
Ability: Weak Armor
Level: 5
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 76 Def / 236 SpA / 196 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Heat Wave

vullaby is a check to mienfoo which checks pawniard. at first i considered overcoat (i hate foongus) but weak armor is just better.
i prefer nasty plot over physical vullaby because i am horrible at managing recoil. if left unchecked, vullaby can win the game on its own. sometimes i use endure instead of roost, but roost gives vullaby more longevity.

:sv/shellos:

Shellos @ Eviolite
Ability: Sticky Hold
Level: 5
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 68 HP / 212 Def / 180 SpD / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Recover

it was either mareanie or shellos. i chose shellos for rocks and a better matchup into torchic.
i use tera poison to avoid sludge bomb poisons but i usually don't tera shellos unless i have to.
shellos is a great wall as long as you can outheal with recover. ice and ground are a good offensive combo.

:sv/mienfoo:

Mienfoo @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 5
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 196 Def / 36 SpD / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Fake Out

yeah no explanation needed. at first, i considered using slow bulky mienfoo to live high jump kick and u turn into gothita, but it felt very clunky in practice.

:sv/torchic:

Torchic @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
Level: 5
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 36 Def / 196 SpA / 36 SpD / 236 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 9 HP / 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Tera Blast
- Protect
- Will-O-Wisp

magby jr is broken. torchic is the first starter i've ever picked and i'm glad i can use it here. i originally thought of using alolan diglett for more consistency, but i chose to go with torchic because i felt like there were too many overlapping niches with alolan diglett.
fire blast is great late game as long as i hit it and tera ground beats fire resists like mareanie and is 100% accurate.

:sv/toedscool:

Toedscool @ Eviolite
Ability: Mycelium Might
Level: 5
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Def / 36 SpA / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Earth Power
- Giga Drain

i like toedscool. as a grass type, it's immune to spore (i hate foongus). originally i considered elekid but i wanted hazard removal so i went with toedscool. ground stab is always nice and it's very tanky.
i chose giga drain over spikes because i never found myself clicking spikes, but the great thing about toedscool is its versatility.

i think the defensive backbone of shellos and toedscool is very strong; mienfoo maintains momentum; and pawniard, vullaby, and torchic can all win after setting up.

however there are a couple main problems with this team:
1. chinchou
mienfoo has the best matchup but it's still not great. torchic wins late game after scouting out the tera, but chinchou is still hard to switch into.
2. mareanie
ice beam nails toedscool and shellos can't make much progress until the eviolite has been knocked off. sludge bomb poisons are very scary. nasty plot vullaby can be decent, but the matchup still isn't good. tera dragon beats torchic until the eviolite is knocked off.
3. elekid
tera ice is very scary. static can cripple pawniard and scouting out the tera is annoying. torchic can still win late game but only after you scout the tera.
4. opposing shellos
it's just annoying, but you can usually pp stall recover and win from there.

any feedback would be much appreciated! unfortunately my brain is square and i don't have replays, but i was finally able to hit top 100 on the ladder with this team.

Hi everyone!
Howdy Primal Rush! Nice build, I am a big fan. the synergies between Vull, Toed, Glim, Elekid are really strong.

I think it could be slightly better if you had a different Vullaby set, or if Totodile was specialised to check Mienfoo. (or sadly if Toto was replaced with a foo counter).

Nitpicking aside, this team is viable and thats a difficult thing to accomplish. Good job!

- Protect / First Impression

Alright,, if you've been keeping up with me, you might understand why i like this pokemon. Quirky Spikes user that walls foongus, gets Knock Off and plenty of other tricks. In the teambuilder, Utility Tarountula occupies a role that is a hybrid of Chespin (Bulletproof Spikes) and Cacnea (Offensive Spikes).

Good job!

First and foremost, thank you for your kind words and suggestions Wisdom! I'm going to get back in the lab this weekend and make another new team. The current toto team I'm using peaked in the low 1400's so its been good so far.

I do hear you out on the vullaby set. Tbh, that vullaby set has gotten me out of more sticky situations than I can count (and personally, i think tera ghost plot vullaby is the best mon on the ladder imo). I haven't even thought about changing it due to this, but I haven't play around with vullaby enough yet and prolly just need to experiment.

Also, to your point, tera grass and tera electric have been the two teras i was using on toto, but they weren't the only ones I thought of. I thought of tera poison at one point for better foongus set up and just a decent resist to HJK from mienfoo. Tera ghost was also on my mind too becuase tera ghost/fairy just seem nice to have on any team lol.

I love this spike stack core! Tarountula has a soft spot in my heart after it helped me win a lc league I was in. Double hazard is really nice with the potential moxie quaxly sweep in the back. Foongus would seem to be the only issue, but with hazards and possible BB from quax/ice beam from chinch, seems like a solid squad!

i just qualified for lc ladder tour using exclusively a screens idea i had. actually, i only signed up because i wanted to test my team lol
:gimmighoul-roaming::diglett-alola::vullaby::shellder::axew::torchic:
i started with an idea of gimmighoul as a screener (it sets screens vs every mon but stunky and spinblocks) and lead growlithe bc it beats the three hazard removal (vull, ashrew, toed), but then i remembered diglett exists as a lead lol
vullaby + shellder are the easiest ho core ever, they win about half the games and complement each other perfectly, with one chipping the other's checks for an easy win. the neat part are the next two mons:
axew is really good, surprisingly maybe. its typing lets it easily set up on mons that are super scary for this kind of teams, like chinchou, elekid and even torchic. its bulk is good enough to let it live one hit of everything, like mienfoo hjk and vullaby brave bird, letting you set up on virtually anything. once it has set up, it is really difficult to stop without having to tera steel/fairy something. +1 outrage is impossible to survive, scale shot lets you not lock into outrage and outspeeds scarfers after a single dd, and terablast deals with shrew and tera steels. i think fire tera is generally better for axew but fighting is better in this team bc growl 6-0es otherwise lol
torchic is the last mon that gives you speed, anti foongus power and will o wisp, and it can win if foongus tera steels vs shellder. this slot could be a life orb elekid as well, depends on your preference. good luck trying it out!

hey lc. i made a set of standard teams for people who want to try the tier.

:mienfoo::vullaby::stunky::elekid::foongus::mudbray:

mudbray balance 1
the normal version of the team
timid vull, phys elekid

mudbray balance 2
different lines

mudbray balance 3
fire punch elekid / sub stunky

:mienfoo::vullaby::stunky::elekid::foongus::glimmet:

glimmet balance 1
spikestack

glimmet balance 2
sub sd mienfoo

thanks for playing
edit: i tested these on ladder bsing and went 13-2 1370 so i bet you could climb high with them if you tryhard. i made several versions so it would be harder to snipe

:sv/tynamo:

magic deez (Tynamo) @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate
Level: 5
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 116 Def / 76 SpA / 116 SpD / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
- Knock Off
- Charge Beam
- Thunder Wave
- Tera Blast

im sorry Tynamo.
in my VR i had ranked this pokemon in the bottom 10 of the tier. its way better than that but im not sure by how much.
Tynamo is a 16 speed levitate mon with access to knock off and thunder wave. it has access to.... 6 other moves lol.
Tynamos viability is a testament to how strong knock off truly is in this tier. somehow this weird floating fish is able to hang with the OU guys for a moment, and even check the strongest mon in the tier, Vullaby. it only has one set dude please dont try to innovate. maybe you could use a diff tera idk.

:tynamo::mienfoo::stunky::foongus::cranidos::quaxly:

:tynamo::mienfoo::stunky::mareanie::cranidos::chespin:

:tynamo::mienfoo::vullaby::tentacool::cranidos::cacnea:

tynamo can come in on mudbray and knock. so i decided to pair it with scarf cranidos for the ultimate bait. it has one trick, but it's a really good trick. i hope you can goof around with it a little. thanks for playing lc

:sv/wingull:

Wingull @ Life Orb
Ability: Hydration
Level: 5
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 36 Def / 236 SpA / 236 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 19 HP
- Hydro Pump
- Hurricane
- U-turn
- Knock Off

Wingull is one of the most threatening revenge killers in the tier. it has the tools to 2hko most pokemon in the tier; has the strength to OHKO many pokemon after hazards or Knock or U-turn chip. the major downside of Wingull is the obvious risk associated with clicking a 70% accurate move. for reference, the odds of hitting 2 Hurricane is 49%. hitting 3 is ~ 34%. So obviously there is a risk associated with the massive damage output. Wingull is also weak to Stealth Rock, Elekid, Chinchou and is generally considered balanced despite the dominating performance that it may be able to pull off. you don't have to run Hurricane or Hydro Pump, but is generally considered to be a weaker alternative as Base Power is relatively more effective in LC damage calcs.

:mienfoo::wingull::mudbray::torchic::stunky::foongus:

:mienfoo::wingull::mudbray::growlithe-hisui::stunky::foongus:

:mienfoo::wingull::elekid::tinkatink::stunky::snubbull:

:stunky::wingull::mienfoo::glimmet::toedscool::torchic:

:stunky::wingull::elekid::glimmet::toedscool::torchic:

ive touched on this before, but because of Wingull's typing it is somewhat challenging to fit on teams with Vullaby. This makes Stunky an excellent partner for it. thats all for me. Thank you for playing LC!

I haven't seen new sample team editions recently. Here's one I used in Slam. Two versions, just different Mienfoo and Vullaby sets. It's a pretty standard team which utilizes the utility of both Shellos and Chinchou as Water-types which are able to withstand the tiers main threats (Torchic and Shellder). Due to it's success, I think it should be added to Sample Teams. Below are the public replays in which I used it:

hey lc.

:vullaby::elekid::growlithe-hisui::diglett-alola::foongus::mienfoo:

This team is built around the idea that one does not NEED a defensive Vullaby check. Instead it uses 3 offensive pokemon that pressure Vull. I have tested this team extensively and I believe it should be a sample team. Thank you.
