Now most of this team is standard, Toxapex, Geezing and Alolan Muk are standard to a tee. Iron Moth being boots 4 attacks helps with momentum and just has generally good coverage for nearly any situation. The only real change is Amoonguss is running a bit of special bulk just to give it a bit more oomph since there are two other physical walls. Iron Moth's/Volcarona's Flamethrower does not OKHO anymore allowing for sleeps and Bloodmoon's Bloodmoon followed up by Earthpower has a good chance to be dealt with then and there by Giga Drain spam.

But the reason this team exists is of course the mon I am Mono's number stan of, Toxicroak. The reason is simple. Adamant Choice Scarf Toxicroak OKHOs Landorus. We don't OKHO Lando 100% of the time without it. That is genuinely it for running Adamant (It is 87.5% chance to OKHO, but I'm reading that as 12.5% chance you fucking die). The rest of the moveset are standard, Knock off for crippling ghosts and just general progress making, Earthquake for big ass damage and hitting Poison/Fire types and Close Combat for a strong ass STAB.

Normal has a reputation for being a not-great type, and on this team we use some allegedly not-great mons like Cyclizar (C rank on VR, somebody want to explain that?) and Farigiraf (unranked on VR, tbh this should change too). And while that reputation is largely justified, it can still be very dangerous. Grassy Seed Ursaluna-Bloodmoon has been an idea for awhile, but this team includes Farigiraf as a second Grassy Seed sweeper. I've had success in room tours using this team, and if you just want a change of pace with a fun, off-meta, pretty silly team, I encourage giving this a try. (DLC 2 releases soon so use it fast!)

A mainstay on Normal teams, I opted for a Scarf set to make it a fast attacker that can punish the opponent when it is disguised and act as a revenge killer later in the game. Fairly standard, at least compared to certain other mons on the team.

The engine behind the Grassy Seed sweepers. Leaf Storm is a strong STAB move that is boosted by terrain, but the real trickery lies in its other moves. Memento provides momentum and an opportunity to set up with a sweeper. Encore is an excellent option in general to punish setup sweepers, Kingambit, etc. Finally, Endure is very useful for this team as we often require Grassy Terrain to be set up twice (to activate each Grassy Seed); Endure + Eject Button lets Arboliva survive after setting up terrain once so it can come in and set it up again later.

I have no idea why this is in C rank, but its quality is undeniable. It is the standard set - Rapid Spin and Knock Off combined with the ever-important Shed Tail into Ursaluna-B, Farigiraf, or even Ditto make it an invaluable support mon for this team.

Grassy Seed sweeper #1. It is exactly what you would expect. With a defense boost + Calm Mind boosts, it can punch holes in any team. 112 SpA EVs lets it OHKO Chien-Pao with Blood Moon, 68 Spe lets it outspeed uninvested base 60, HP is maxed, and the rest is put into Def.

Grassy Seed sweeper #2. Double Dance Farigiraf is surprisingly dangerous. It is basically "Espathra lite," and it has Armor Tail to block priority moves. It is intended to be a late-game sweeper after Ursaluna has already weakened the opposing team sufficiently. Given an opportunity to set up, it can close out games emphatically, being especially dangerous to Fighting teams. Calm Mind can be used over Nasty Plot, but after a traumatizing experience I like Nasty Plot better.

Finally, the ever-present anchor, just to make sure that the opponent can't get too out of hand with their sweepers.

Thought I might share this Dragon team that I've had a lot of fun using recently. It started out as a silly idea, as so many of my teams do, but it has proven to be very usable (and just goes to show how broken Dragon is, even when neither Dragapult nor Gouging Fire make an appearance.)

The entire thought process behind the team: "we want double steel for fairy, but then we lose to ground so let's add double ice, but then we lose to fighting so let's add double psychic." The sets are all fairly unsurprising but together their coverage moves allow the team to handle almost every type. Double scarf latis with almost identical sets is unusual but can be helpful in providing flexibility - for instance, either one can trick their scarf while still maintaining a scarfer on the team.

Tspikes ghost is my go to team comp whenever there is a ridiculous mon in the tier because everything else typically runs offensive teams to not get ran over. I had a lot of fun with this team in particular since I decided to focus on using hex instead of using screens.

Gambit is broken, blood moon is hard to deal with unless its on a normal team without tidy up/boots and gouging fire + h-goodra + specs dragapult is hard to deal with but very doable. Could run Sinistcha to help with ground at the expense of making dark and dragon worse

Gengar is really the only choice for using tspikes as a suicide lead on ghost. Tried a few different sets but found that I wasn't using taunt that much as I wasn't really running into that many hazards and I couldn't really use destiny bond because of the high speed in the tier. Hex + wisp punishes passive play very well. As well as burning poison/steel types.

The main hex abusers. Spectrier is really fun and can super snowball games as switching into hex is difficult when tspikes are in play. But the amount of resttalk a-muk and normal teams made life difficult. Dragapult while not as strong can click dragon darts which helps a lot especially when dragon is as broken as it is now.

Standard set, felt that clicking nasty plot make it rain was too valuable over running twave + hex. Mainly to hit poison teams harder

Mostly standard, having hex over other coverage moves helps deal more damage on switch ins and crucially ohkos opposing flutter manes if they switch into tspikes

Skeledirge was my main answer to gouging fire as well as being able to spread burns to help spectrier sweep and setup better, as well as checking gambit (hate that mon). But it doesn't really work well with pult since pult doesn't need to setup. So ceruledge helps dent teams for pult instead. As well as help significantly in the ghost mirror match.

Mimikyu runs twave over swords dance because I never ended up clicking it besides the ghost mirror match. It is far better off as being a way to cripple any threats like gouging fire and galarian moltres (especially behind screens). Hitting gambit and normal types with drain punch as well as just generally checking dragon and dark mons. Has room for some creativity by either more focusing on supporting by switching to red card and/or having sd/sub/destiny bond over drain punch or shadow sneak. Possibilities are endless because this mon does 0 damage or is slower than anything it does deal damage to

Was testing different varients of basic 6's for steel when I was making samples, and Ijust kinda wanted to try 3 attacks taunt Heatran + Scarf Gholdengo. Usually I had Heatran or Treads as the scarfers since i felt keeping Gholdengo as nasty plot was necessary, but Mushamu convinced me to try scarf gholdengo again and yeah its baller. Team is simple and not very out there, but tested all the way 2 the top of the ladder. Shits good have fun

The idea is, well, overloading the opponent with 3 choice specs wallbreakers + archaludon. It's pretty fun really, just spam nuking attacks and hope it gets through. Bad against hazardstack sadly.

A team for all of us who remember a time before Toxapex.

This was primarily made for the sole purpose for really just having experience with every currently viably ranked Poison Mon. However it isn't all garbo and does provide some utility and fun.

is Poison's only form of hazard removal that isn't weak to Steel providing unique utility, it also comes with access to Flip turn to do damage and escape from bad situations, notably 297 gets the jump on 295 (and gets :Kleavor:

after a Rapid Spin) and is mainly used to escape from :Ceruledge:

Originally this team had the actual Trio of Revavroom for Improbable Blob, Fezandipiti for Ethereal Sword and Toxicroak for yours truly but Toxicroak was sadly just worse Okidogi so I went for Okidogi (I'll build a Toxicroak Poison or fighting in the future my friends, it shall be ranked somewhere again)
When it was made I was testing out the Tentacruel Poison and used that as base which is why my variant is striking similar to the first team I posted.

is bulkier overall and tanks damage far better and notably is a steel resistance but ends up with a hazard-less Poison overall while :Glimmora:

mostly because I couldn't think of a good second attack while Ethereal's version has Heat Wave with Heavy Duty boots for safer entry and to deal with Steel-types easier.

is a solid win condition being able to with assisted chip from its teammates end being able to Shift Gear up and rip teams apart.

This was a concept that I used for a bit, didn't like and stopped using but I may as well post it here because it does have a few benefits.
Notably, Its currently the only Poison team in my builder that has a form of Entry Hazards other than Toxic Spikes.
This is not a joke by the way, I genuinely only have like Toxic Spikes Toxapex for my entry hazards and I have two Clodsire Teams (Both Curse by the way) so yeah.
But back to the team at hand, the main star of the Show here is :Overqwil:

with intimidate to provide some solid support it provides a unique utility in slowing down Physical attackers that threaten Poison Majorly like :Iron Boulder:

being able to generally come in and threaten it straight back out along with :Azumarill:

thanks to both Outspeeding and being able to threaten Barb Barrage.

is Standard outside of Toxic but thats a concession I decided to make.

Mostly a standard fighting if I'm being completely honest but Okidogi is really cool.
Notably if it every finds a safe position it can kind of just click Bulk up and win the game there like against a Dragon that has no :Latios:

in. Its also just a solid Fairy Neutralty that can threaten several mons thanks to its high bulk, notably looking at :Primarina:

and saying "unboosted Psychic Noise ain't scaring me even if I don't kill it." and then proceeding to cause some major damage. (I'm not joking, 252 Modest Psychic Noise does 88.4 max to Okidogi, this mon is amazing)
Other than that its mostly Standard Fighting, :Iron Valiant:

is EBelt because I think its neat and Iron Moth has conditioned to me to have a special attacker that rips Water apart with CC because its neat.

So, to most people with "functioning brains" after getting experience with basically every mon of a type, you would think I would return to the normal viable shit in S/A/B right?
WRONG!
Instead I let the dysfunctional part of my brain continue forward and for am I glad of that because the functional part says shit like "You should vote to not ban Zamazenta and Espathra because Poison shits on them." and while that may be true, it is wrong.
Which has lead to the insane half going down this route. A path some may consider unviable and hey, they're kind of right, Ground and Fire are notable issues but a lot of types have bad matchups and they can be beaten, probably, maybe I should of saved a replay of that happening.
Anyway...
Ladies and Gentlemen I give you.

Overqwil + Tentacruel Poison featuring Dual Fighting types.

A brief backstory for this team. This came about thanks to Mono UU and its failure to update the banlist come April first (AMuk was not unbanned) so quickly grabbing a team, I grabbed Tentacruel Poison, slapped an Overqwil for my Dark and said "Fuck it"
And it worked for that Tour. So I kept using it and modifying Real Squid repeatdly. It has seen so far three verisons, Dual Dark (AMuk + Overqwil which is most similar to the OG Tentacruel with Qwill over Runt) Iron Moth (Which was just Iron Moth over AMuk) and now this current verison.
Lets go through the stars of this team shall we?

Big Qwilliam here takes the Dark Role of the team with its impressive physical defense allowing it to take on powerful physical Psychic-types like Iron Boulder, Gallade, and Hoopa-U (Yeah, surprised me to) and its inability to be Magic Bounced by Hatterene (Whats it going to do, each a Barb Barrage?) It serves the hazard pressure of the squad with immense utility along with checking Psychic-types (We still fuck up Espathra bitches) ~~Also this is the team where the entire Overqwil Analysis will be coming from, your not welcome. Also hey, Shop Keeper, your getting the vacation I kept promising you.~~

See the Posion Analysis for further details. But Shroottaur plays her normal role her us and for that, we thank you for your services my queen.

Continuing with the same role it did last time but in a far superior positon thanks to having a reason to exist, this Real Squid puts on the pressure with its powerful Water STAB, and Knock off to keep things flowing.

With more offense than previously, this Empress has gone back to being incredibly bulky and just in time too as our main special wall to take on monsters like Latios, Heatran, and Iron Valiant, it will take your hit and respond back without mercy.

Lets'a go with this all Bulky, no Scarfi Okey Dogi. It will take hits like a champ and bulk up on ready to Punch its way to victory, while it and with Spikes providing the glorious support they are, nothing it stopping it this time. Except for Fairy-types, but we a team for them.
:Sneasler:

Returning from vaccation from a lot of my teams, Sneasy is back and ready to blitz. with Okey Dogi taking the main sweeper route, this legendary speedster can blitz with Choice Scarf on Neck taking lives when needed.

And now looking at this, I should of put Toxicroak on Sneasler just so I could hit all the viabilites including Unranked, maybe next time Croa.

Well what ever it is, just be weary, for it is, Forbidden Magic.

Anyway, a Psychic team featuring my actual favorite Pokemon, Delphox. Yeah, my favorite Pokemon isn't a Poison type but a Psychic type. The irony is not lost on me. I got to 1500 on the ladder with this so it is actually a team that works.

This team was originally built by me however I cannot take full credit for how it ended up as it was originally a bit clunky, so after playing a few games against Boomp he fixed it up immensely. His changes were Making Hoopa-U AV over boots and using Slowbro over Dexoys-s. Neko also provides a tiny bit of assistance when I asked her, even if her change was just slapping Boots back on Phox and running Encore, it helped.

Being my favorite Pokemon was of course the starting point, Focus Blast + Flamethrower is a solid anti Steel combo being solid into a lot of them. Nasty Plot increases this Crimson Maiden's power even further to inflict some annihilation, even if I rarely got to use it. Encore was the main change Neko made to the team allowing Delphox to solidly lock Kingambit into either Sucker Punch or Kowtow allowing for Iron Boulder or Hoopa-u check it or for Delphox to setup with Plots and then murder with Flamethrower.

This Love-coloured rock is the teams speed control and solid cleanup option. Not much else to say, its fast as fuck.
:Latios:

Its an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile, I ain't gotta explain what it does. Shit dies when it can come in safely.

From the Magic Library, this full on witch helps with our Dark and hazaard issues greatly which I frankly really needed. Calm mind setup with Mystical Fire to deal with opposing special attackers. Swept a few games and lived a few hits so it was coolio.
:Hoopa-Unbound:

Our anti Ghost Mon, special wall, and solid breaker. Also using this really was an enlighting moment for how fucking horrid that Defense was, even when I ran invested bulk I let this Treacherous Maiden play a few too many games against U-turners.
:Slowbro:

The Empty Girl here forgot her item, but luckily that was just her cat keeping it away so she could check Ceruledge which overwise does cook us, otherwise standard Slowbro stuff, without an item its a reasonable knock absorber kinda. Still wouldn't recommend eatting a Knock off but sometimes you gotta.

So yeah, thats that. It was genuinely a lot of fun getting to use my Favorite mon and was finally that good excuse I was looking for using Hatterene, a mon I've always wanted to use but never have both casually and competitive outside of a few brief moments prehome for Fairy and in OU. (Before going back to Mono Poison lmao)
Anyway, some replays if you wanna see the team in action.

The Empty Girl here forgot her item, but luckily that was just her cat keeping it away so she could check Ceruledge which overwise does cook us, otherwise standard Slowbro stuff, without an item its a reasonable knock absorber kinda. Still wouldn't recommend eatting a Knock off but sometimes you gotta.

Bazaar dead again and with the bad types laddering starting I may as well drop something I built well in advance (And by that, I mean I wasn't even on a MFPL team then.) and am not going to use either bad types or MFPL.

Defensive Iron Moth? Expert Belt Galarian Slowking?
I've been wanting to post this for a few weeks now, and finally just decided to bite the bullet, teams that might actually be used in MFPL (or well, used in the case of my flying) coming at a later date.

A brief bit of history on why this concept came into existence. During a conversation I had with Jakhem I was doing some deranged calcing as per usual and found this;
160 SpA Expert Belt Slowking-Galar Ice Beam vs. 244 HP / 204+ SpD Gliscor: 355-422 (100.8 - 119.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
And since then I've made jokes about it but decided "Why don't I actually try to use it" So I slapped a Glowking on a team and then went "Hold up, this shits too slow now" and had a a weird problem of wanting to drop Toxapex for something faster but I still needed a Fire resist, if only something could help me.
Iron Moth. It has Recovery in Morning sun, its got a decent defensive spread and it can't be the worst thing ever. To put it simply, Defensive Iron Moth was such a good fit that it became the main thing I referred to this team with, not the original purpose for building. Even with it being a defensive beast, Iron Moth is still quiet offensive since base 140 special attack does a lot of damage allowing for it to reliably 2HKO Archaludon and OKHO ATales 40% of the time which is solid for a mon with only 8 points of special attack investment.
Overqwil was then chosen since I already had two mons with decent special defense so I could probably afford to get away with it over AMuk.

In a more wide note not on this team: This has lead to me making the genuine believe that Boots moth last move is very diverse. Even on offensive sets Toxic finds the use of being a better threat to Fire- and Dragon-types or specially bulky walls you can't beat and Morning sun makes use of the fact that Iron Moth has a solid special defensive spread being only slightly worse than Glowking (80/110 compared to 95/110) and I think the defensive moth concept can be explored more since with Max HP you live hits that are surprising like a Fallen 5 Kingambit Sucker punch or a +1 Modest Raging Bolt Draco Meteor which is nice. EBelt Glowking is a joke though, I never got to OKHO a Gliscor, furious.

Introducing: Ground Stall

It works surprisingly well... until you run into any of the Pokemon that 6-0 this team, and there are a few of them. Also, whether or not this team even qualifies as stall with SD Gliscor and Scarf Tusk is up for discussion.

The main point of making this team in the first place is to show that you don't necessarily have to run Sand in order to run Ground. The team peaked at 1650 on ladder, so whether or not I was successful in showing that is up for you all to decide.

Anyway, quick overview:

really half of the reason this team "works" is because Gliscor is completely busted. It can absorb status/Knock Off, stall poison turns, scout, Knock Off HDB, and be the team's Ground immunity. An SD set is used because the team lacks damage otherwise and it can win some games by itself.
:clodsire:

TSpike setter, water immunity, and special wall. Rock Slide is used for Volcarona and some Flying mons. It also pops both Heatran and Gholdengo's balloons.
:quagsire:

Unaware user, spikes setter, and physical wall. Surf is used to hit Skarmory in particular.
:ting-lu:

The funniest set here. RestTalk + Ruination + Whirlwind can be either be extremely broken or extremely useless depending on the matchup (if the opponent doesn't have ways of doing a lot of damage very quickly, Ting-Lu can put in a lot of work). The idea is that Sleep Talk can randomly do substantial damage or force the opponent out (or call Rest and do nothing), making it hard for the opponent to make full use of the sleep turns. If hazards are in play, this set becomes more effective since Ting-Lu can't actually knock out any Pokemon otherwise. Nonetheless, the Ruination damage could help set up a better Great Tusk endgame. Ting-Lu can also run SpD EVs, which may be better overall.
:gastrodon:

Secondary water immunity, rocks setter, and secondary special wall. Gastrodon, unlike Clodsire, is not weak to Ice so it can switch into Pokemon like Greninja. I wanted to run Sticky Hold here but the water immunity is too valuable to pass up. Clear Smog isn't an ideal choice (Ice Beam would be better in a lot of cases), but it is useful for certain setup sweepers.

Endgame cleaner. Aside from the STAB moves, a lot of moves can work (Knock Off, Rapid Spin, Ice Spinner, etc.) - Play Rough is used for some Dragons and Fighting types, while Megahorn is used for Grass and Psychic types (particularly Ogerpon).

I've previously ran Hippowdon over Gastrodon as a way to reset weather and do a little chip via sand. However, I don't really think it does enough to justify replacing anybody here. Gastrodon allows this team to not immediately lose vs Greninja, for instance.

So a brief background on the team and why it exists.
My building prior to this point (This is was during MPL, so awhile ago now dear god) was very barren of good teams that I built that was not of the Poison type. I know, shocker. But it was an actual problem that I wasn't experience enough in both building and playing with other types. And one of my big areas I was lacking was any attempt of Hazard Stack teams. This was made as an attempt to fix it and was using a simple rule I wanted to add:
I had to use a C rank or lower in my team.
I went with two lmao.
Most of this team is kinda standard Flying outside of running Whirlwind/Roar Skarm/Cuno but I think they both helped in racking up hazard chip in several games. Torn-T has since become a difference spread but prior to this variant of the team I was running the AV Analysis sample, I still personally enjoy Sludge Wave as Bleakwind despite everything is still way too unreliable for my liking to rely on it all the time.
But the big thing is this guy :Moltres:

This being built pre MPL means it is still Gambit country, and more importantly, Steel country. Offensive Moltres is surprisingly good Steel killer since not much really wants to come in on it with Scorching Sands + Flamethrower being able to clean that type up and being faster than 5/6 common Steel mons (which is true even now) does wonders. Speed is to outrun Glimmora but could be dropped down to 216 instead to still outrun base 85s instead (and its probably better cause Glim has fallen off a cliff in usage)
Its been surprisingly functional, while most my time with it was pre Gambit ban I still bust it out sometimes post ban and I see more of the issues with it, but it has a softspot in my heart and hey, without I wouldn't of won Week 1 of MFPL with my wacky modified version (three Kanto birds, on your door step lmao)

After Neko showed me her CB Sneasler team I decided to have my own crack at it. Notably this has become one of my two main comfort teams (the other being the Poison sample) as this trades the Ghost and Steel MUs for a more reliable Flying (still hella hard) Dragon, and Mirror. 12 Speed on Geezing outruns TTar and more importantly Hoodra while I forget exactly what the Glowking EVs do outside of reliably 2HKOing Ghold with Flamethrower. Toxic on Alolan Muk is also a solid option should you have the Fire power to beat your main targets for Poison Jab (Primarina and Hatterene are OHKOed by CB Dire Claw and are removed later by other options) and can be used as a pressuring tool, notably for Volcarona making AMuk a bit more reliable at wearing it down. I haven't used it too much recently since Zamazenta got banned as I switched over to the next team mainly afterwards.

A team made because I was getting tilted during the Zamazenta suspect and decided to take it out on other people by bulling the ladder with some hot garbage, you know how it is. Genuinely though ended up preforming far beyond expectations and doing wonders and got me my reqs. Same as the previous one just with Salazzle, Salazzle can drop a singular point of speed off its sample set solely because no one else uses Salazzle (last month usage stats had me at 15.207% for the 1630s and I had long started to move onto the last team that will be here) Infestation on Pex is also a lot more valuable here as we can more reliably spread Toxic onto foes with Lazzle so trapping in walls once we get that Toxic can be vital.

See the original Defensive Moth posting for more information, this is mostly here as it can sort of been considered a refinement of the old concept, it certainly can be improved further and will be very soon but it also shows how stupid I can be. This was meant to be loaded into Sificon in MWP and I'm certain that if I did, I would of won that game but chickened out last minute cause I was tired and went to my comfort team (and we all know how that game went) This team isn't great you're throwing the Dragon MU real hard and a bunch of other MUs aren't super comfortable but its fun and is fairly strong into Bug of all types as Boots Moth is already not that easy for bug to remove and is the best Scizor check on Poison and now it has some actual HP backing it up.

And that is why I needed to post the team before hand. After MWP I tilted real bad and decided to engage in some tomfoolery. Double Specs would be the solution to life's problems. So I took the Defensive Moth team slapped Specs back on Moth and went to work. And it fairly succesful for the most part. Both teams have different matchups they fair better in, the Shroottaur one does better into Water and Dark and feels better into Ground and Normal despite still being shakey while Poxes fairs better into Ghost and Dragon.
On Shroottaur Edition, Dogi is used because Defensive Moth was the based and realized I need a fast Pon check so Dogi to the resuce, did some nice stuff in my core builder I have it as Bulk Up and I do not remember why and found no replays on the Shroottaur side of things for it.

On Poxes Edition I switched to Sneasler as I was finding that Gengar and Moth where doing fine enough so Sneasler's abilitiy to Pivot would likely be more reliable and it has proven to be helpful. With this core speed increase at a base level I've been switching between Modest Iron Moth and Modest Gengar with the most recent variation being Modest Gengar

On both editions I ran a brief bit of Bulk Up Okidogi, while it has its moments (Steel just is invalidated with the dual specs + Bulk Dogi) Having a faster fighting and being able to check Ogerpon-H and Wellspring on the Poxes teams reliably made the faster fightings a superior choice. But both can be ran with a Dogi if you feel like it.

After a long time not playing this format, I had been testing random niche types such as Electric and found that:

:Thundurus:

1) Physical Thundurus is pretty funny. It has new Flying STAB in Acrobatics so Bulk Up Prankster with Chesto Berry is a nice idea to assist Electric in Grass and Ground matchups. It also have valuable tool in Knock Off to soften some bulky cores. I’d love to see if this set can be improved better, especially because I’m not great in spreading EVs.

2) Iron Thorns is a funny Stealth Rock lead to catch off guard Gliscor, Landorus T, Archaludon with Special Attack investment.
