Has it ever been considered to ban Stored Power ? I mean I know we prefer banning pokemon over moves but every instance where we see stored power being used has always been quite unhealthy. It was literally the reason why baton pass teams started being banned back in the day. Without it, I don't think Espathra would be broken and Magearna would be more manageable (may be still broken but more manageable). I do not know every instance where Stored Power has made a Pokemon unhealthy in the past, be it OU or other tiers but it would shock me if there are none.
Literally a meta where Stored power is seen a lot will often be unhealthy in my opinion.
Not necessarily advocating for it to be banned but I see people complaining about light clay instead of stored power and that kind of shocked me that banning a playstyle comes to mind before banning a cheesy move.
For people who are struggling to deal with Magearna, I have made a blueprint on how to deal with Magearna much easier.

Warning: There might be few inaccuracies, but this should help teambuilding a lot.
We can see the Bears paw lol
We can see the Bears paw lol
We can Flame or b nicer about their efforts. Let's not rush Headlong into such an Adamant decisionwhile I admit you do have guts to try and edit it, I can still see past the facade and it's still unbearable to look at
Last 2 will be Ursaluna and Urshifu Rapid Strike
Great Tusk as the only decent hazard removal will remain #1 in usage. Lando-T is not as splashable with the nerfs it received this generation.
that could be itI think the orange triangle looks like volcarona's wing ngl. I think it lines up pretty well, and is also more likely to be looked into than Tera or Zapdos
It loses to any faster mon, for the moment it looks underwhelming for me, we need to wait for the meta to stabilize before saying it is bad.View attachment 521758
New toy syndrome (à la Mimikyu) or meta defining mon?
And how to deal with him right now?
Tbh the only one I would hit for sure is Mag. I think everyone else benefits from the meta Mag brutally enforces. I could see the argument for Chien Pao also being problematic since Mag is a good check to it and it is still problematic arguably.
I think that Hisuian Samurott is a quite okay Pokemon, Ceaseless Edge can be quite annoying to switch into and deal with long term because of Spikes being set up, however, we have pretty good checks to it like Magearna, Urshifu-R, Zamazenta and Toxapex while also having an awkward speed tier, letting Pokemon like the aforementioned Urshifu-R, Enamorus, and Roaring Moon revenge kill it. It's not meta defining but not bad at all, and counterplay for it is quite solid.View attachment 521758

Anyways, I've been rocking with this Ice-spam core for a bit and I think it's pretty solid. Chien-Pao is already known as a very strong wallbreaker and Baxcalibur is an annoying set-up sweeper, and they certainly appreciate Galarian Slowking pivoting into them and dealing with Pokemon like Enamorus and Magearna. It's a somewhat standard core but I've been enjoying it a lot recently. What do you guys think?
Ursaluna will fall off without robot gf

wanted to share this fun rain team. I dont think its that good, but its fun. I honestly feel like having a non-water mon with swift swim (Overqwil) is really good for rain, especially since its type gives it resistance to grass & its not weak to electric. Only weakness is ground, which water handles (Rain). Also, Specs Pult under rain with thunder & hydro pump is good.
