This guy not only can tank 1 final gambit thanks to focus sash but he can do it twice with endure, while he also can set up weather so you can outspeed the rest of the team with a SS or Chlorophyll mon. Aroma Veil also prevents taunt, it is like of Lechonk was made to counter the Final Gambit menace.

So I finally bit the bullet today and got over my distaste of Great Tusk and I gotta say.... I'm kinda whelmed by it.
The way the usage rate and people talked about it, I was expecting something mindblowing once I slotted it on my team but so far he has been... just OK? I'm probably missing something, like a specific set but so far I find myself liking Iron Treads or Landorus over him.

Tusk is a bit disappointing compared to Lando when he had his full movepool, but the utility it provides w knock + rocks + spin is worth it. Sometimes the standard defensive set does feel a bit passive compared to Landorus who has intimidate + immunities + pivoting though, especially considering that some of the best setup sweepers can force that Tusk out
