The L has nothing to do with Landorus
well you kinda just confirmed its last respects in that caseThe L has nothing to do with Landorus
To make this more than just a one liner, how does feel about ursaluna it’s got by far the best offensive movepool in the tier. And the attack and bulk to do alot with it
Well only other Pokemon that starts with L and ends in S is Lurantis. So that means LURANTIS IS BANNED TO UBERS!The L has nothing to do with Landorus
Last Respects is too big of a word to fit.well you kinda just confirmed its last respects in that case

New Zacian-H with an Ice typing is apparently fine in OU, even with dual STAB, better ability, is stronger after a Sword Dance (4/3 * 2 > 2.5), and STAB priority. I disagree and pretty sure majority of people disagree, but people have their opinions.I've seen a lot of people say that Chien-Pao deserves to be unbanned from Ubers once home drops and I have to ask why?
It has access to dark/ice/fighting coverage which gives it a SE hit on basically every mon in the metagame. And even if it doesn't, It has high attack and sword of ruin to make walling it nigh impossible. iirc the best way to deal with pao when it was OU legal was to revenge kill it. Except that doesn't even really work because the only non scarfed thing in OU that does is pult which can't switch in and still gets deleted by sucker punch or ice shard. The only reliable method would be to run a suboptimal scarf pult/pao of your own or run a paradox mon with speed + proto/drive, which just makes the game even more HO based than it already is. Fairies like clef and fini do wall it pretty well, but I'm not sure that having to run one of them on every team healthy for the metagame. Do we really want another Gen 8 DLC 1 meta to happen? Because I feel like legalizing pao would make that happen.

Do we know how dire claw is weighted ?
Sleep Clause Mod ignores how the game would work and just stop the second instance from happening, like how it happens with Effect Spore or if you click Spore a second time.I mean Idk if I understand how regulation works but Dire Claw should be banned right? It goes directly against Sleep Clause bc you could theoretically put more than one opponent to sleep as it's a random chance of it happening
It would work like Relic Song, which isn't used because it changes Meloetta into a frail physical attacker. Most sleep inducing moves don't give you a huge difference from cart play since it's not hard to just simply avoid using Spore or Sleep Powder again. Dire Claw is different since it's an attacking move but is actually good unlike Relic Song. For Cart play, once you put a Pokemon to sleep with Dire Claw, any time you use it afterwards it runs the risk of breaking sleep clause.I mean Idk if I understand how regulation works but Dire Claw should be banned right? Now normally this isn't an issue because more people play on Showdown, but it's supposed to be a simulation of cart gameplay and people still play cart too.
I mean dire claw already got restricted in stabmons so we could see a similar case here just so sneasler can only cheese past so many of its checks/counters, a similar clause/restriction to sleep clause regarding its status inflicting was placed onto dire claw to make it less uncompetitive, and I can already see something similar happening in a post home meta.Yes so that's what I mean. What happens if you already have an opponent asleep? Does Dire Claw autofail like Spore? Or is it coded to not trigger sleep chance? Bc that would be deviating from cart gameplay
Bc like we could say, okay it doesn't matter bc it's luck based and won't happen too often, but it's a 50% (?) chance of inducing status and ppl here be complaining of Scald 30% burn rate
Regular OU is a bit different since they don't like banning things that are only on 1 Pokemon. Like if Gothitelle was the only STag user, it would be banned instead of STag. Similarly, Houndstone was banned, but more than likely will be unbanned with Last Respects being banned because of Basculegion getting it (more than likely, but could easily not get the move due to updates and stuff).I mean dire claw already got restricted in stabmons so we could see a similar case here just so sneasler can only cheese past so many of its checks/counters, a similar clause/restriction to sleep clause regarding its status inflicting was placed onto dire claw to make it less uncompetitive, and I can already see something similar happening in a post home meta.

def Last Respects, maybe abbreviated. Finch straight-up confirmed it's an L, so it can't be Eternatus or Enamorus (not that enamorus is quickban-worthy anyway)View attachment 518258
