Zamazenta is a check. It relies on the boost from Dauntless Shield to not immediately get mulched on the switchin by a +2 Power Whip, but its higher speed, bulk, and resistance to Ivy Cudgel allow it to tank at least one of Ogerpon's attacks from full and begin setting up itself. Boosting with Iron Defense prevents Ogerpon's next attack from KOing unless it's boosted higher than +2. This also allows Body Press to OHKO, even taking into account the Defense boost from Embody Aspect.

Chesnaught is a counter through and through and takes extremely minimal damge from all of its attacks. You can also simply spam spikes too to get free chip as it gets forced out so next time it is ohko'd through sturdy.

CHECK DD Pult
Well, this is less of a check and more of a "oh, you killed my mon now I get to click DD and win the game rn bozo", or "I have kingambit/priority so I can just switch in, click darts, and force a trade" type of mon. Still quite effective in the meta, and does exceptional damage to just about anything in the meta, along with packing sub for kingambit.

Assuming you come in on anything other than +2 Tera Rock Ivy Cudgel, Bulk Up Okidogi can usually just go straight for the 2HKO with Drain Punch and Rockpon doesn't have a way to take it out, if you both come in at the same time you can even set up. +2 Tera Rock Ivy Cudgel can 2HKO, even if the chance is very slim so this still only lands as a check, but you win if you come in for free since Drain Punch's heal will put you out of 2HKO range. 92 Spe is to outspeed all Kingambit, then you just bulk to the max. If you go full defensive this is a counter but not outspeeding Kingambit with something like this is a big no-no for me.

Assuming you come in on anything other than +2 Tera Rock Ivy Cudgel, Bulk Up Okidogi can usually just go straight for the 2HKO with Drain Punch and Rockpon doesn't have a way to take it out, if you both come in at the same time you can even set up. +2 Tera Rock Ivy Cudgel can 2HKO, even if the chance is very slim so this still only lands as a check, but you win if you come in for free since Drain Punch's heal will put you out of 2HKO range. 92 Spe is to outspeed all Kingambit, then you just bulk to the max. If you go full defensive this is a counter but not outspeeding Kingambit with something like this is a big no-no for me.

With this EV spread, you outspeed uninvested base 100s (manaphy) and below (gliscor) and invested kingambit. Adamant nature was chosen for better calcs against bulkier stuff (notably OHKOs Gliscor, Pex, and +1 Zama at +2) and not really having anything you want to outspeed with Jolly save for Adamant Dragonite, which you can only beat if you Tera. Tera is to power up rock tomb while also resisting pesky flying and fire moves that come your way, mainly from Zapdos and Iron Moth. Neither is really relevant for this interaction though.
