-SWAG Off The Meter-
Hello fellow Smogonites! Somewhat new to the forums but not so new to competitive Pokemon, (though no pro either). I used to play on POS in Gen 5 and I've been playing on Showdown for all of Gen 6. I had some success with a volt-turn team for a bit but after plateauing at around 1700 I decided to try something new. I put together this somewhat Hyper O team, taking ideas from other RMT's and Teams I've faced on Showdown and I've been having really good results. Priority and Speed is everywhere this Gen so I felt I really needed a Fast/Priority team to be successful. This team is really fun to play, and I think it has a lot of potential, but could definitely use some tweaking. That's where I turn to you!

The Strategy of this team team is simple, get my rocks up, and proceed to tear shit up with with Priority Moves, and Set Up when opportunities present themselves. So lets get right into it

Terrakion @ Focus Sash
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
Terrakion is a boss. Such an awesome pokemon. Terrakion is my go to lead 90% of the time. Taunt/Stealth Rocks is obvious, CC for a strong STAB, and EQ for extra coverage. Focus Sash/EV's dont require much explanation. The idea is pretty straightforward. Taunt opposing leads that i know I can out speed, get up rocks, and either switch out to deal with a threat or ride or die and deal as much damage as I can before he dies. Terrakion is almost always my first Poke to die. I think the best part about him is the surprise factor he brings. Most people don't seem to expect the Terrakion lead, and dont expect the taunt. I love ruining some one else's strat by taunt and then proceed to do whatever I want.

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Superpower
- Play Rough
Ahh Belly Drum Azu, so friggin strong and so underrated. I seriously can't believe how many people switch out and let me Belly Drum all over their face. I've tried the CB version and just didn't like being locked into a move with him so I went for the Bulky Belly set and haven't looked back since. EV's for max Bulk and Atk. I'm actually surprised to see how much this guy can take, even after using belly drum/sitrus berry. Idea with him is basic as well, set up and dish damage. Aqua Jet for priority STAB, Play rough to make sure Dragons GTFO, Super Power for coverage.

Lucario @ Lucarionite
Ability: Steadfast
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Vacuum Wave
- Dark Pulse
- Flash Cannon
Lucario has been a long time favorite, and when Gen 6 came around I was stoked for his Mega. I originally used the physical Mega Luc but switched to Special Mega Luc for Vacuum Wave priority over BP priority. Plus, I wanted another SP.Atk'er since the majority of my team is physical. I usually don't bring out Mega Luc till end game once his biggest threats have been taken care of, also he's pretty fragile. It's pretty easy to get a Nasty Plot off, get that +2 together with Adaptability, and proceed to tear teams up. Moves and EV's are self explanatory, Timid, for as much speed as possible. Vacuum Wave for priority, Flash Cannon for strong STAB, and Dark Pulse for Coverage.

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Surf
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- U-turn
Ahh Greninja! I could seriously talk about this Poke for hours! By far my favorite Gen 6 poke and slowly becoming my all time favorite Poke (BLASPHEMY!) Greninja is seriously a bad-ass and the perfect example of a glass cannon. Protean and Life Orb let him hit HARD! Like Mega Luc, I usually save him for end game or once his threats have been dealt with. I've had Greninja on every team I've used this Gen an have had amazing success with him no matter what. EV's/Nature for Max Speed/Damage. I know Greninja needs all the power he can get, but I chose Surf over Hydro Pump just for the reliability. Even though its the weaker move, I've lost games before due to Hydro misses and that just plain sucks. Ice Beam/Dark Pulse for coverage and U-Turn to GTFO.

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
Bisharp is amazing. Such a fun Poke to use! With Defiant he gets even better. I love seeing my oppenent throw out a Latias or Mandibuzz, throw out Bisharp to eat that Defog and get a +2, then proceed to tear s**t up. Going with a Life Orb to deal out as much damage as I can, though I have thought of other items to use. EV's are standard, Jolly for speed. SD for an easy +2, Suck Punch for priority and to say FU to Aegi, Iron Head for STAB, and Knock Off for an even better STAB (the item removal is a HUGE plus too!)

Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 250 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp
Talonflame. The definition of OVER USED. Literally this guy is everywhere. Thankfully, hes not Mr.Popular for nothing, this guy is an absolute monster. I've gone with the CB set for maximum damage. Choice Band Priority Brave Bird hits so hard its not even funny, Flare Blitz for STAB, U-Turn if I feel my opponent is going to switch into something I don't wanna stick around for, and WoW for the rare chance I might actually use it lol.
So there's my team. I'm really enjoying the feel and play-style of this team but I know it can be made better. I welcome any constructive criticism!
Changes/Thoughts
So prior to starting this RMT I have a couple ideas that I'd love some feedback on.
Terrakion- So I've had trouble facing off against faster leads, and since Terrakion is usally the first to die anyway, I've thought of maybe replacing him with Deoxys S. The only thing is I will definitely lose any surprise factor that i get with Terrakion. Also Terrakion bulk compared to most leads is rather useful
Lucario- Although he's one of my favorite Poke's, he's not really married to this team. I've toyed with the idea of trying Mega Gyarados over Luc. The Mold Breaker EQ would help with a lot of my threats (mainly Rotom-W >.<) and definitely has a little more staying power over Luc. However, I'm not too sure how I'd feel losing some priority, and also giving up one of my sp.atk'ers for another physical attacker.
Bisharp- Bisharp's moveset is perfect as is but his item is definitely up for discussion. I've thought about a Lum Berry to allow him to eat a sleep or burn. Also thought about Dread Plate to increase damage on SP and KO without the HP loss of Life Orb.
Talonflame- U-Turn and WoW are so rarely used that they could definitely be changed. I've thought of Tailwind over WoW but haven't tried it.
THREATS
The biggest trouble I've had when using this team is going up again Defensive or Stall Teams. I've been able to come out with wins, using some really smart playing and predictions, but more often then not I'm s**t outta luck. Also, the most glaring weakness of this team I would say is the lack of a defogger or spinner, however with Talonflame being the only Poke I have who has a real weakness to rocks, opposing hazards really haven'y proven to be a big problem.
Rotom-W- The other Mr.Popular of this gen is a real pain to deal with. Usually Greninja or Luc can handle him with a couple Dark Pulse's since almost everyone runs a Bulky Defensive ChestoResto Set, however being my two most frail poke's i dont like bringing them out early just to deal with a threat that'll most likely burn me and then volt out.
Genesect- I can usually deal with scarf genesect with a priority move but he can still pose a problem for me. Of course, he's on every other team too -_-
