Swampert (QC 3/3)

There were arguments both for and against Ice Punch. In my experience, Ice Beam was the better option, since it hits Xatu, Gligar, and Tangrowth (I do see this) harder. Ice Punch certainly merits an AC mention, but the only thing it hits harder is Shaymin, who beats you anyway.

You're forgetting about Zapdos and Togekiss. The difference between punch and beam on Xatu is minimal; Ice Beam is not worth the main slash just because it hits two RU pokemon hard. That's pretty much what AC was designed for. To give you an idea of how weak Ice Beam is, it's not even a guaranteed ohko on flygon.

Move Ice Beam to AC and move those spatk evs to def and I'll approve this.
 
Just wondering, what about Avalanche on the tank set? It's stronger than Ice Punch and Ice Beam, and you're slow enough to go last move of the time.

Except it doesn't hit things on the switch harder that you'd like AKA Roserade.

This is good. Unfortunately most people are still running the old defensive set from OU...it's utter garbage

Swampert in UU needs to take advantage of it's offensive capabilities.
