Tanky Blastoise Build

Hey, I am new to smogon and have been trying to get more into competitive battling. That being said, I recently created a tanky Blastoise build i was hoping you all would be willing to check out and see how viable you all think it would be for competitive use. Anyways, this is what I did. I'm primarily hoping to use it for doubles (particularly on a rain team) but maybe singles too?

Blastoise (M) Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 122 SpD
Bold Nature
- Water Spout
- Aqua Ring
- Rapid Spin
- Protect

Regular Blastoise is, in general, inferior to Mega Blastoise, so you'd be better off running Blastoisinite in place of Leftovers. Because of that, you have much less recovery, so this set would not work very well. Also, this kind of post is probably better off in the Simple Questions thread. Welcome to Smogon!
