Approved Team and set notes

reposted from a duplicate which wasn't flagged as such so i've been redirected here, oops!

hey, i independently came up w the same idea, and i thought it might be nice to bump the thread. while you can add notes like this in pokepaste or other external sites, once the team is in your builder it's much easier to check there than to sift through logs with your friends to find that 3 month old paste they sent you. and ofc if you're ev'ing on your own you're probably not making pastes there really is nowhere more convenient to put this kind of info.

i think this is especially important on vgc and doubles where most pokemon have very specific ev spreads by virtue of games generally being shorter with less chip damage involved. i imagine this kinda stuff is even more important for them

if it's easier to code it might even be fine if the notes aren't in the UI too. you can just allow you to comment on the importable like you can do on most programming languages. that could work as a temporary fix if the teambuilder UI is too tricky to change for the time being?

Adding to this; it would be nice if we could add notes to individual mons rather than entire teams if that is possible. That way you can also "store" information on EV spreads in your box rather than having to go through all your teams to find a certain mon with a certain spread that you might want to use for a new team.

Greetings folks,

Just wanted to add to this. Idk if this is still ongoing, but in addition to adding notes to teams specifically, I think it'd be good to add a Notepad function on the homepage of PS as well. Similar to a room like Lobby, Tournaments, etc., but it's a notepad where you can jot down whatever you need. That would be great when teambuilding.

Hi there. I'm not sure if this is feature is still actively being worked on, but given the recent update to team sharing and uploading (and the somewhat low character limit for uploadable team titles making it difficult to justify keep notes there in the meantime), I figured I'd echo the sentiments of the posters above.
