This is a team I made about a week ago, and this will be my first RMT. This team has fared great for me sofar on shoddy, racking up an impressive 34-2 record. The only reason I lost those two games was because im new, and i did a bunch of noobish stuff such as switching a blissey into a lucario(it didn't work very well). The team is a balanced team with 3 walls and 3 sweepers. Im sorry but i can't put pictures on this RMT so i hope ur okay with that. The team is:
Skarmory, Blissey, Cresselia, Heatran, Electivire, and Scizor.
Skarmory@leftovers, Nature: impish Ability: keen eye
EV's: 252 hp, 64 atk, 176 def, 18 spd.
Moves:
~Drill Peck
~Roost
~Stealth Rock
~Whirlwind
This is my lead, and as such, it plays a very important roll im my team. I usually try to wall their lead until they switch in someone with a fire or electric move. I start with stealth rock and then use a combination of drill peck and roost until they get tired of being walled and switch in something supereffective. If they're lead is supereffective, i switch in Heatran or electivire, depending on which move i think they're going to use. Whirlwind is nice against ninjasks and things like abomasnow which can get annoying if they set up with leech seed and engrain.
Works with Heatran and Electivire
Why? They can absorb fire and electric moves targeted towards Skarm
Blissey@leftovers Nature: calm Ability: Natural cure
EV's: 252 def, 216 spD 40 spA
Moves:
~Softboiled
~Seismic toss
~Toxic
~Aromatherapy
This great special wall only has one weakness and can wall most special attackers, even if they're supereffective. Its 252 defence Ev's make it capable of also walling many physical and mixed sweepers. Its aromatherapy works great to heal my pokemon of special conditions, which is often necessary since none of my pokemon have lum berry.
Works great with Cresselia
Why? Cress can easily switch into most fighting moves targeted at Blissey.
Cresselia@leftovers Nature: Bold Ability: levitate
EV's: 252 hp, 252 def, 6 spA
Moves
~Moonlight
~Thunder wave
~Phsycic
~Ice Beam
Don't have much to say about this one. She's just a great mixed wall capable of paralizing and then walling most pokemon. She gets lots of use against fighting types, as Phsycic is my only supereffecive move against them.
Works Great with Skarm and Blissey.
Why? Skarm Bliss Cress can together wall every OU pokemon effectively except a Gengar with focus blast.
Heatran@choice Scarf Nature: naive Ability: flash fire
EV's: 6 hp, 252 spd, 252 spA
Moves:
~Dark Pulse
~Flamethrower
~Dragon Pulse
~Earth Power
This is my revenge killer, fire absorber, and probably the star of my team. He gets an average of 2.5 Ko's each game. I Have a quesion for you though. Should i replace Dragon pulse with Hp ice or not? Hp ice would be nice because it gives OHKO's against Salamence and Garchomp, but would leave me with no supereffective moves on my team against Kingra and Dragon pulse is nice because it's only resisted by steel.
Works great with: Skarm
Why? absorbs fire moves that would otherwise KO skarm.
Electivire@expert Belt Nature: Adament Ability: motor drive
EV's: 6 hp, 252 spd, 252 atk
Moves:
~thunderpunch
~Fire punch
~Ice punch
~cross chop
This guy's amazing coverage makes it a great late game sweeper and it often gets a KO or two in the early game by switching into a electric move targeted at Skarm. If I can get it switched in without taking much damage, I usually get a KO.
Works with Skarm and Cresselia
Why? It can absorb electric moves targeted towards skarm and Cress can switch in to ground moves targeted towards Vire.
Scizor@Leftovers Nature: Adament Ability: technician
EV's: 248 hp, 252 atk, 10 spd
Moves:
~Pursuit
~superpower
~Bullet Punch
~Roost
This pokemon can do a little of everything. If Heatran faints, it can revenge kill most pokemon that dont have 50+ hp with bullet punch. It is a pretty effective wall breaker. It can sweep pretty well. And lastly, roost coupled with its only one weakness can sometimes allow me to use it as a wall. In other words, if one of my other pokemon faints, it will probably be able fill the other pokemon's roll in my team, though not quite as well. Scizor is aso my only pursuiter.
Works great with Heatran.
Why? DUH. It's almost obvious someone will use an fire move on it, so switch in heatran, absorb the attack, and then hurt someone.
Well, That's my team. Any comments you have on ways to improve it are appreciated.
