Team: Operation 16-0 [OU]

This team is different from any team ive used before, although im generally bog standard, i made some changes to turn holes into major sweeping holes.

This team is built to breakdown most standard stall and offensive teams easily crippling them by breakdown critical pokemon with ease. It is mainly offense with a bit of semi stall to help with breaking down many teams.

Roserade
410.png
:
@Focus Sash
Nature: Timid
Ability: Natural Cure
Ev's: 6 HP, 252 SpAtk, 252 Speed

-Sleep Powder
-Toxic Spikes
-Leaf Storm
-Hidden Power (Fire)

Roserade is amazing as a lead. Putting to sleep many slower leads and can do tons of damage to faster pokes. Azelf/Aerodactyl i straght up attack often time i am taunted/srd against. Against Jirachi i instantly go to Magnezone allowing an early setup. Only true weakness: Lum Berry Gross

Gengar:
@Life Orb
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
Evs: 6 Def, 252 SpAtk, 252 Speed

-Protect
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
-Hidden Power (Fire)

This pokemon is the key to spelling the end of most offensive teams and can ravage Stall teams once Blissey/Latias are gone. Since scizor is in many situations the only counter on most offensive teams to Gengar. Not only that, but it also acts as a spin blocker, maybe not as effective as rotom forms, but thats not its main job. It is natural that i put protect here, if i see pursuit/uturn i Hidden Power to finish it opening wide holes. If i see bullet punch i go to the star of the show...

Magnezone:
@Salac Berry
Nature: Timid
Ability: Magnet Pull
Evs: 40 HP, 252 Sp Atk, 218 Speed

-Substitute
-Charge Beam
-Hidden Power (Grass)
-Flash Cannon

Amazing, simply amazing. Once i see an iron head/tpunch/icepunch from rachi a bullet punch from scizor or any steel type with out a super effective move to hit me with its nearly game over. Against Ou teams scizor becomes bait i can then activate my salac after what feels like 60 bullet punches, i hit 351 speed with these evs Allowing me to outrun many standard pokemon such as (latias/Starmie) who could normally come in without any sense of danger. Stall teams Blissey can be a problem but Hippowdon/Swampert are no problem due to hp grass and toxic spikes. If i do see blissey on one of those stall teams i go to...

130.png

Gyarados:
@Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: intimidate
Evs: 248 HP, 226 Def, 36 Speed

-Dragon Dance
-WaterFall
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

This pokemon takes care of many threats while pushing tspikes to the limit. Can sweep unsuspecting team late games and tears blissey to shreads. If something goes wrong beats Scizor, Lucario, Heatran and many other physical sweepers that can't touch him. Unless its super effective it isnt going to do much.

THE REVENGERS:

212.png

Scizor
@Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
Evs: 232 HP, 252 Atk, 24 Speed

-Bullet Punch
-Pursuit
-Superpower
-U-Turn

Helps me a ton with latias which is tough for the rest of the team. But usually revenge kills weak pokes does tons of damage while scouting and uturning away. Provides a counter for DD Ttar and just seems simple to slap on any team.

For The big bad dancers here is my answer

380.png

Latias
@Choice Scarf
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
Evs: 6 Hp, 252 SpAtk, 252 Speed

-Draco Meteor
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
-Trick

Revenges Salamence, Gyrados and Kingdra after a dd and kingdra in rain. Does tons of damage with its stabbed draco meteors and can cripple tough walls with its trick. Although after a revenge killer uses its pursuit IE: Scizor/Ttar. This just opens a new hole for magnezone to set up.

All in all i believe this a a tough team, careful thought went into it. Please rate as best you can so i can continue to improve it. Thanks:naughty:

I'd replace Alakazam with Gengar. What you're using is the "Mystic Gar" set with an Alakazam. It's outclassed by Gengar because you have a lot less opportunities to switch in. Alakazam has no defense whatsoever, and Gengar doesn't have the best either, but Gengar has useful Ground and Fighting immunities which let it switch in a lot easier. Alakazam is also not outspeeding anything that Gengar wouldn't except for non-HP Fire Gengar and Latias, but you already have Scarf-Latias and Scizor to take care of them.

I have to agree with Class, Genger would probably be more useful for you. It's immune to Dynamicpuch from Machamp, Close Combat from Infernape and Earthquake... from almost every Pokemon, lol. Foiling Explosion and Rapid Spin is another great characteristic. Try this set out:

Gengar @ Life Orb
Nature: Timid
EV's: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP

Focus Blast
Thunderbolt/Psychic
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power Fire

The difference between Psychic and Thunderbolt is based on what you want to do; Thunderbolt for Gyarados, Milotic and Suicune. Psychic is great when switching into a Fighting Pokemon using a STAB move, or even Earthquake, like Infernape or Machamp and lets you OHKO back (since Sash'd Apes are ruined by your T-Spikes).

Nice team overall.

Hi.

First of all, as stated before, obviously change Alakazam to Gengar, what you are using is outclassed. Gengar has three immunities, wich allows him to switch-in a lot more easily than Alakazam who has below average defences and has a bad typing, also he has better STAB, since Ghost is a better attacking type than Psychic. Use Gengar with Shadow Ball / Thunderbolt / Focus Blast / Protect @ Life Orb, a Timid nature and 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe as an EV spread. This works very similarly to the set you're using on Alakazam but it has the advantage stated before.

Also, a huge problem in your team is lack of Stealth Rock. Stealth Rock is a great move in general and can help your sweepers KO some Pokemon, and most importantly, it takes 25% of Salamence and Gyarados' health. This makes them easier to handle since you can only revenge kill them, and those two's biggest weakness is residual damage. It also helps enourmously against Zapdos who causes a lot of problems, he'l have to think twice before switching-in on Scizor's U-turn while you switch to the appropriate counter. Since none of your Pokemons can actually use Stealth Rock, you'l have to replace one of your Pokemons. I would suggest you use standard Metagross as your lead, to setup Stealth Rock. Replace Roserade, as he doesn't fit, the team doesn't really benefit from Toxic Spikes, and SR is a lot more helpful as a lot of Pokemons are immune to TS and any grounded poison type can just switch-in and absorb them. Metagross also gives you a nice switch-in to Tyranitar's Stone Edge as the only one who resists Rock is Magnezone and he is completely walled by T-tar and Stone Edge is a 2HKO.

Metagross @ Occa Berry
Clear Body / Adamant
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Atk / 20 Spe
-Meteor Mash / Earthquake
-Explosion
-Bullet Punch
-Stealth Rock

Good luck with the team.

Choice Scarf Latias doesn't outspeed Kingdra in the rain =/ I'm fairly sure that Ninjask and base 120 + scarfers (never seen) are the only things that can make that claim if the Kingdra is specially based (max Speed). None of those pokes are very useful to the team, and while Kingdra is absolutely a major threat, he isn't really seen outside of RD teams. Just clarifying that point.

Also, while I agree that a ghost is important, Gengar is a terrible spin blocker, and you are probably better off with Rotom-H the Boosting Sweeper to scare off spinners and do a lot of damage:

Rotom - H @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 64 HP/232 SAtk/212 Spe

~Substitute
~Charge Beam
~Shadow Ball
~Overheat

Bump. I'm not going to change to Sr as of yet im gonna try both since both have negative and postitive effects for this team. However i have changed to gengar.
