Team Vee (OU RMT)
This team was inspired by vaporeon and jolteon's ability to benifit from switching in on certian attacks and often force a switch. And as such each of these pokemon can switch freely into certian moves. Vaporeon is really the keystone to this team, allowing me to switch freely with little reprecuscions.

In Depth
Rose, the thorn
Roserade @ focus sash
Ability: Natural Cure
Gender: F
EVs: 4 hp / 252 Spatk / 252 speed
Nature: Timid
- sleep powder
- toxic spikes
- Grass knot
- HP (fire)
Switch-in(s): Status moves, toxic spikes absorb
Synergy: Vaporeon, jolteon
Description: Rose's job is to put the opponent to sleep, then set up toxic spikes to make the opponent less willing to switch pokes. Rose is faster than a lot of other leads, and when it's not, focus sash lets it survive the first attack and put the opponent to sleep.Survives bullet punch w/ sash, then hits with HP fire. Aerodactyl leads taunt so I use grass knot immediately and 2HKO them. Kills Skarmorys, bronzongs, hippodowns, forretresses, and Swamperts. A couple of possible switch ins on it after it uses sleep powder are Snorlax, gyrados, and Tentacruel, the latter two Vaporeon can take care of, although vaporeon has some difficulty on Tentacruel. For snorlax switch-ins, Donphan is used. Grass Knot was chosen over leaf storm to prevent switch baiting. If it survives till later in the game, it absorbs opposing toxic spikes and statuses, aswell as revengekills.
----------------------------
Dora, the grounded
Donphan @ Leftovers
Gender: F
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 52 hp / 252 atk /204 spd
Nature: adamant
- Earthquake
- Stealth rock
- ice shard
- rapid spin
Switch-in(s): electric, phys attacks
Synergy: Vaporeon, Roserade
Description: Dora's main job is to spin away any stealth rocks that aerodactyl, metagross, or azelf might have managed to sneak by Rose. With the ability to set up stealth rocks of it's own, spin away opponents entry hazards, and take physical beatings as well as dole them out, Donphan is still one of the game's best spinners. Ice shard is there for a priority move, although it has lost some of it's importance with Garchomp being moved up to ubers, is still useful for damaging Dragons and revenge kills on opponents low on HP.
------------------------------------
Aireil, the graceful
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Gender: F
Ability: Water absorb
EVs: 188 hp/ 252 def / 68 spd
Nature: bold
- HP (electr)
- protect
- wish
- surf
Switch-in(s): Water, non super-effective moves
Synergy: Jolteon, Flygon, Heatran, Roserade, Donphan, Flygon
Description: The team's keystone, allowing me to switch between teamates with little to no damage. Absorbs water damage for donphan, Heatran, and others, While taking Ice attacks for flygon, donphan, or roserade, then allowing jolteon absorb the likely tbolt that will come next. But Aireil isn't just a way of switching back an forth between the others, With STAB surf and the ability to zap other water pokemon as well as put an end to the fun of DDanced Gyrados, along with the ability to wish-pass and toxistall with Toxic spike support, Aireil is no one-trick pony.
---------------------------------------
Volt, the lightning
Jolteon @ Leftovers
Gender: M
Ability: Volt absorb
EVs: 4 hp/ 252 spatk /252 speed
Nature: timid
- Tbolt
- shadow ball
- HP (grass)
- substitute
Switch-in(s): Electric
Synergy: Vaporeon
Description: Volt outspeeds anything that is unskarfed or stat-boosted switching in on electric attacks used on Vaporeon (especialy as a nasty surprise to choicegars), or for revengekills, then Subs on the opponent's switch-out. Substitute can also be used to block status-causing moves or scout opponent's attacks. Due to it's electric typing, Volt can take bullet punch from Scizor. Used To counter Gengar, Latias, salamance, Flygon, Skarmory, Vaporeon, Gyrados. Because Volt is fragile, it requires substitute to allow it to 2HKO anything that it can't OHKO.
---------------------------------------------
Too Hot, the vengance
Heatran @ choice scarf
Gender: F
Ability: flash fire
EVs: 4 atk / 252 spatk / 252 spd
Nature: naive
- Earth power
- HP (ice)
- Fire Blast
- Explosion
Switch-in(s): Fire, poison
Synergy: Vaporeon, Roserade, flygon, donphan
Description: Adds some speedykills as an early or late game sweeper/revenge killer. Switches in if something tries to use a grass attack on vaporeon or tries to use toxic on it. Can take Fire, Ice, or flying attacks directed at Rose. Takes Ice attacks for flygon and dnophan. Lava Plume was chosen over Fire Blast for the increased accuracy, and increased chance of burn on any Salamence, Dragonite, Gyrados, or Flygon that decides it wants to switch in and set up on the next turn. Although Lava Plume is weaker, it still OHKOs anything weak to it.
-----------------------------------------
Desert Storm, the finisher
Flygon @ Life Orb
Gender: M
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 32 hp / 252 atk/ 8 def/ 216 spd
Nature: naive
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- flamethrower
- Roost
Switch-in(s): Ground, Electric
Synergy: Vaporeon, Roserade, Heatran, Jolteon
Description: It outspeeds anything that has below base 90 Speed. Dragon/fire/ground combo is unresisted by anything. Desert Storm can take a bullet punch or two from scizor or metagross, then retaliate with either heat wave or EQ then roost back to health. Heat Wave was chosen over fire blast for both accuracy and raw power. Although using heatwave lowers special attack, it is Desert Storm's only special attack and will almost never need to be used consecuitively anyways so i think it is a fair trade. Desert Storm can kill both Skarmory and Blissey due to it's mixed attacks. Almost everything that doesn't have very high speed or ice shard has reason to fear.
Threat List (In progress)
Umbreon (Lead Baton)- Umbreon using Meanlook/Yawn/sub/baton pass combo on Rose at the beginning of a match can start the match on a bad path as I can't really do much until Rose wakes up and even then depending on Umber's teammates it can be difficult to stop the chain.
