Hey y'all, please could I request that you build some amazing teams around the following cores/concepts;

Dragon Dance Mega Altaria & Magnezone

smash pass gorebyss into mixed Kyu B or Hydreigon since they both resist gorebyss' grass and electric weaknesses, have solid bulk, have no notable boosting moves and sweep the entire tier at plus 2 SpA, Speed and Atk. Possibly with Magnezone too as an alternate recipient due to its grass and electric resistances, resistances to bug, fairy, dragon and ice which the other recipients are weak to, and ability to defeat azumarill, unaware clefable etc.

Dual screens offense ft. Espeon @ light clay Dual screens, yawn, baton pass and Klefki @ light clay dual screens, twave, spikes. I did create a team that peaked in the top 10 of the OU ladder with these two - Klefki, espeon, DD lum dragonite, SD mega pinsir, SD glasses bisharp, BD Azumarill This team had excellent defensive and offensive synergy, with dragonite and Klefki for example resisting or being immune to all of each other's weaknesses.

Will finish this post soon...
Will accept the M-Altaria+Magnezone core, smashpass is banned and BP has been limited further.

Hey all, love the whole idea of this thread and I'll probably steal a heap of these teams to try them out. I'd also like to request a Mega-Pidgeot/Celebi core:

Pidgeot @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Roost
- U-turn

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Spe
Bold Nature
- Recover
- Baton Pass
- Giga Drain
- Nasty Plot

This is a core I tried to build around a while ago and I failed miserably. Would love to see what you guys can do with it.

This was built by rob. in the first teambuilding workshop. It hasn't been that long since the team was built and despite some slight metagame changes here and there, I'm pretty sure the team can still work considering I am still using this team. Hope I helped. Remember that everything written below is from his perspective.

First I started off using M-Pidgeot and Dugtrio like you requested. Dugtrio was decent but it lacks power and longevity. Dugtrio couldn't live long enough to check multiple threats to M-Pigeot. Keldeo fills in this role perfectly. Keldeo places constant pressure on Rock and Steel type mon's thanks to its incredible Special Attack and it has the added benefit of a great defensive typing. Next up was Rotom-Wash. Rotom-Wash didn't fill any immediate weaknesses. It's such a great pivot and I wanted to pair it with Mega Pidgeot so they can easily bring their teammates in and out of the match. Rotom-W also checks a bunch of threats like Scizor, M-Pinsir, Talonflame, Excadrill, Landorus-T, and others. At this point the team had weaknesses to Electric, Psychic, Grass, and Fairy types. I also wanted a Specially Defensive Pokemon that could easily pivot in and out. Celebi filled in perfectly. Instead of the common supporting Celebi, I chose the Nasty Plot + Baton Pass variant so it can potentially pass boost to M-Pidgeot or Keldeo. I was now in need of a hazard remover. I didn't want to stack too many weaknesses so I decided against Latias + Latios and went with Excadrill. Mainly because it's immune to Electric and Poison type moves and it resists Flying and Fairy type moves. Tyranitar was the last choice. It's an excellent supporting Pokemon that sets up Stealth Rock, it traps and maims Psychic-types that pressure Keldeo, as well as supplying Excadrill with Sandstorm. Optional: Scizor is definitely worth considering instead of Celebi. While Celebi does provide few nice resistances it's a bit of a liability offensively and can open opportunities for opponents to setup. Tyranitar could easily pick up the slack and absorb a few more Special Attacks. This change would bolster the teams offensive capabilty a ton while opening a weakness to Rotom-W. Also note that the loss of Celebi leaves the team with a neutrality to Fighting type moves.

We appreciate the effort but please don't post teams if you aren't a designated builder for the workshop. This is to everyone in general and thank you for this but please refrain from doing so. rob. would you like to make another team or are you fine with this?

Bro, it's probably a good idea just to post one core at a time, other people are also asking for help with teambuilding and there's a finite number of people working on this, and it takes time for them to make and test teams before they get put up here. You've asked for like 5 teams there which is a little greedy I think.

Hello there, I've been playing some OU more seriously recently and I found out that it's actually fun unlike what's rumored about it. Anyways, I'd like a team built around SD Mega Pinsir and Scarf Excadrill, thanks in advance and keep up the good work! :)

Hello Mr. Freeroamer, here is the team I made for you around ur dank core of mmane + kyurem-b + pursuit trapper. I could have been innovative and gone with a different pursuiter than ttar, but I haven't used bandtar in a while and it is extremely tough for teams to deal with kyub + cbtar. After that, I added spdef skarm since my og Croven has a hazard stack + mmane fetish. Spdef skarm gives me a much needed fairy resist, as garde, diancie, and altaria shred apart the first 3 mons. I opted for shed shell skarm since magnezone is making a comeback on ladder and I like keeping skarm alive to help vs fairies and dragons. Next, I was weak to rain teams and I needed a stealth rocker, so I used seismitoad. Seismitoad is a very underrated mon in the metagame right now, it has quite good utility and is a pretty sweet physical tank. (Shoutouts to my fren JohnYiu for popularizing it in ou :D) Lastly, I wanted another keldeo switchin that could spin away hazards, so starmie was an obvious choice. I opted for ice beam + hidden power fire since ferro was an annoyance and I wanted another way to revenge hydreigon. Overall I think the team came out pretty crisp, and I've laddered up pretty high with it on showdown. I hope you have fun with the team! Shoutouts to Croven for helping me build n test :^)

That looks awesome man, solid with a bit of creatitivity in there too. Played a few games with it, struggled a little bit with a Mega Sableye but Scald being the balanced move it is I came through. Thanks for the build!

Therefore following that logic if you build 5 Pokemon around dual screens espeon as I'm requesting then it is viable

It's not happening even if espeon is viable because you asked for multiple cores. I'm just letting you know now that we won't be building with it when your other core is finished.

Plus, if you have a team with Espeon that peaked top 10 then you clearly don't need us to build another one n_n

Why not Earthquake > Earth Power on Seismitoad? Does it miss out on anything specific? If not, I'd change it to Earthquake just so SubCM Keldeo can't use Seismitoad as set up bait, because it can be quite problematic if it gets too many boosts as Starmie lacks Psyshock.

I know the shop is closed right now, but when it reopens can I get a balance team around this core? Been really wanting to use offensive M-Slowbro. Hippowdon and Tornadus-T check electric and grass types respectively for Slowbro. The members of this core are particularly weak to status like Toxic, so a status absorber would be helpful.

i had some fun building with this because i haven't used this core since mid-xy. lots of people say scarf excadrill doesn't work anymore, but lots of teams use latis and rotom-w for their common ground immunities leaving just a few 'mons to take care of. playing mega pinsir wrecklessly is the best method of play against offense and balance and it should be used to weaken landorus-t for example which helps clear one threat away from an excadrill sweep. swords dance rarely comes to use tbh but it is useful against fatter teams, so you could keep it i guess. adamant is the preferred nature because landorus is banned and no one really uses max speed garchomp anymore. it also allows you to use feint which nails talonflame and weavile at +2 while completely shitting on fat squads (use mega pinsir as win condition v. these btw). keldeo-r provides a bisharp and weavile check and combats fire-types such as heatran. keldeo-r should be used to spread burns early game and spam hydro pump mid game. you can also abuse a double switch to bring mega pinsir in to wreck things because common switch-ins will include tangrowth, mega venusaur, celebi, amoonguss, serperior, and azumarill. assault vest kyurem-b is the lord and is an excellent anti-lead that punishes people leading with the common raikou, rotom-w, garchomp, landorus-t, and hippowdon, while checking a sizable chunk of the specially based metagame. by using hidden power [fire], you lure in mega scizor and ferrothorn which makes mega pinsir and excadrill's jobs much easier. kyurem-b will more than likely be used early game to break holes. latias provides healing wish support and secondary hazard removal because excadrill can be rather unreliable at times and/or set-up bait to dangerous sweepers. it also checks keldeo which would otherwise freely spam its dual stabs. stealth rock support is mandatory for almost every team and i needed something that could switch consistently into latios, check opposing kyurem-b which have been rising in usage, and excadrill. ferrothorn was the perfect candidate and not only can it use leech seed, ferrothorn's common switch-ins are oppurtunities for av kyurem-b to come in and leech seed adds hp to keep up its longevity! this team struggles against mega metagross, so i added chople berry to ferrothorn to take 2 hammer arms and leech seed most of its health away in addition to iron barbs. it also lets you nail mega lopunny with gyro ball which is a huge threat to the team and chople somewhat alleviates it. life orb tornadus-t is another threat that this team is going to be having trouble with, so make sure to keep latias alive so it can revive kyurem-b to full health when needed. talonflame is annoying so keep excadrill healthy and against balance teams that use specially defensive stallbreaker talonflame, once again conserve latias's healing wish for kyurem-b and make mega pinsir your win condition because these squads will be fatter. hope you like the team and you can take a quick peak of it in play in this replay and this one as well. :toast:

Hi guys! Could you build a team around BD Chesnaught + Tornadus-T? I made a team around this pokemon with limited succes.

chesnaught-3.gif

Chesnaught @ Salac Berry
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Drain Punch
- Substitute
- Belly Drum

BD Chesnaught is an underrated threat imo and it is able to set up on some of the more common OU pokemon such as Mega Sableye, Rotom-W, Landorous-T or Hippowdon (no whirlwind)
Do you think that bulletproof can be a good solution over overgrow?

tornadus-therian.gif

Tornadus-Therian @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 96 HP / 160 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- U-turn
- Filler
- Filler

I think that Torn-t is a good partner to BD Ches because rotom-w and hippo are common switch in and thanks to u-turn I can pivoting on Chesnaught. Torn-t can handle pokemon such as mega venu, celebi or mega pinsir which can wall chesnaught set.
Thanks guys.

I'll take this, team be up soon !

Talonflame @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
- Roost

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Atk / 200 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Toxic
- Fire Punch
- Substitute

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpA / 16 Spe
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Earthquake
- Synthesis

I would like a bulky offensive team based of this core. The sets are simple besides maybe Jirachi. 252 Hp for the subs, 200 speed to outspeed standard LO Kyruem-Black, and then the rest in attack. Earth on Venusaur is to get those heatrans that come in.

Got this

Hey looiiyut here the team i made based on your core, I never build one team around BD Chess that's why this core seem very fun to me. First thing after reeding your post come to my mind ZardX because benefics with BD Chess baiting Hippo/Tank Chomp so this way you can put a lot of pressure on the Physical wall of your opponent; Jolly Zard with enough speed to outspeed Scarf Kyub after +1. Zard X also can deal with clefable because if you look out the team seems like a problem although isn't enough so i look a pokemon that can lay up hazards and control it so i add Forretress also a fairy check and slow volt switch completing the volt-turn core. Chess is so weak even a +6 that need hazards support to secure some HKO so next thing was rocks + bird check and Hippo was the way i choose, you can go Sand stream if you feel weak to weather but sand force it's ok too. And last i need a second water resist since Chess is offensive so i add AV azu completing this way both of the most common cores Fairy/Steel/Dragon and Fire/Water/Grass, also i like PuP to deal to extend with CM Clef so you can PuP and then spam Play rough. The team isn't perfect so i think it could be better if you think about this alternatively.
The Alternative way of this team is put LO Stallbreaker Torn-T to deal with CM mega bro wich is the biggest problem of this team if chess isn't capable to set up, another option is put Toxic on Forretress and sacrifice momentum with vol switch
