Seriously, why Barça needs even more players? They already have a very strong team as latinoheat has pointed out, great players like Ibra and Ozil doesn't fit in the bench imo, they should aim for a club where they get to play.

Barcelona is strong enough already to aim to win the Champions league, Liga and Copa del rey are a given since the only real opposition there is Real Madrid. Spanish league is broken.

England's win is all well and good but more importantly

Either this is someone's idea of a joke or it's too good to be true

This seems a little questionable to me too, since United have got more than enough strikers, but if you read the comments, someone mentions that Bebe can play attacking midfield too. Possibly preparation for a diamond formation in the future when Scholes can't play? Who knows.

Well you know what Ferguson's like for plucking unknown Portuguese players out of obscurity and propelling them to stardom? First that Ronaldo kid and Nani's getting better every season so I'd have high hopes for Bebe if I was a scum fan. Man Utd are too far in debt to safely make a big signing so these little diamonds in the sand will have to do.

I think Fergie is just reshuffling his people this season, after last season where people like Berbatov are showing they can't really do much, and anyway, yeah they are to deep in debt to do anything big. Scholes, Van der Sar, and Giggs getting old ain't helping either.

Arsenal for premier league with van persie top scorer of the league.
Am I the only person who feels sad for this guy? He'll be stuck with the same signature for ages ;.;

Ronaldo wasn't really that unknown when Fergie signed him alongside Rooney, Robinho and Tevez he was pretty much the most hyped young player in the world for a good year before United signed him.

Though i give fergie credit Ronaldo is the only one who has really met the huge expectations people had, as good as Rooney and Tevez have been if they had lived up to the insane hype they had they would have been multiple time world player of their year and basically carried England/Argentina to a World cup trophy.

Which club will win the Premier League? Please also make your ideal lineups for the top five.

This is my Fantasy Team for the Fantasy Premier League:

Friedel
Foley Givet Vermaelen A.Cole
De Jong
Valencia Lampard Bale
Berbatov Rooney
--
Myhill; Mouyokolo; Ferguson; McFadden

Hopeful Rooney can continue to score, and Lampard will hopefully reach his usual 20 goals. I can see Valencia and Bale doing really well.

Really looking forward to the Premier League starting this weekend. Hopeful Manchester United can beat Newcastle on the opening day, but we often have a slow start. The game against Chelsea hints that we're in a nice flowing mood though, so I expect a win. Here's the team I'd pick:

van der Sar
O'Shea Vidic Evans Fábio
Valencia Fletcher Carrick Giggs
Berbatov Rooney
--
Kuszczak; Brown, Rafael; Scholes, Nani; Owen, Hernandez

The back four could be a bit different, but Evra and Ferdinand are definitely not going to feature. Other adaptations to the defence can be Brown, Rafael or Neville starting at Right Back instead of O'Shea or we could play with Brown or O'Shea in the centre of defence, leave out Fábio and play Evans at Left Back, or even O'Shea at Left Back. I'd personally like to see O'Shea or Brown at Right Back though, with Fábio getting a game. I think Park will be left out due to how much he's travelled on International duty. Carrick impressed against Chelsea so should start, and I want to see Fletcher start. Valencia needs to play, and since Giggs played little against Chelsea he should start on the wing. Berbatov and Rooney should still be the main strike force, with either Owen or Hernandez coming off the bench. I can see Sir Alex going for the sympathy from the fans and bringing on Owen, but I'd like to see Hernandez...

Going for a 2-0 Man Utd win.

Liverpool

i hope this isnt your starting lineup for the actual game against arsenal.

season starts in a couple hours, both real life and fantasy! gl everybody
and looks like balotelli deal is done, only one left is milner. although Stephen Ireland is screwing with City and demanding 2 million if he is to leave as part of the milner deal lol.

and btw, arsenal is gonna beat liverpool. :D

I wish I wasn't such an Arsenal lover.. it always messes with my fantasy teams lol.

goodluck to all. I really hope Newcastle hold their own this year.. i know they can do it

i kinda feel your pain dude... i just can't bring myself to pick a spurs player to be on my fantasy team even though i know that some of them could really help >_<

on a side note, i noticed that much of my midfield turned out to be a bargain bin lol
