Gen 6 The "Are my Pokémon IVs and Nature good?" Thread

Keep.
-----
I settled on 12/31/20-21/31/29/31 for my Deoxys (it's Hasty), plan to use it for Attack Forme, so the option to reset for better defenses isn't very appealing to me for obvious reasons.

JUST tossed it. Lol, I can probably do better. But if I get that or better, I will keep. Thank you!

Hi guys. It's me about to get greedy again. Caught an Adamant Rayquaza with 19/30-31/30-31/29/30-31/30-31 IVs. Keep or toss?

Kinda suspicious since I don't know if the Speed is perfect. And the HP is kinda meh.

I'd toss.

EDIT: Saved on this Rayquaza, pretty much flawless since I plan on using it in level 50 battles (though I don't think it'll have much trouble in level 100 battles either)
Rayquaza - #384 (Jolly) : 28 / 30 / 31 / 16 - 17 / 31 / 31 in a Nest Ball :)

Hmm, now I got an Adamant Rayquaza, 27/31/29/31/25/31.

Is it better than my last one, I wonder... HP is higher, but I lost a couple points in SpD.

I know it's far from uber, but I'm SRing for Cosplaychu, and she is 20-24 /30-31/23-29/30-31/31/30-31

I'm thinking about keeping her, since it doesn't matter her HP or DEF, she'll die with any hit. What do you think?

Is it likely to get perfect IVs for legendaries like Rayquaza? I'm just scared that if I reset I'm going to keep getting average IVs around 10-20

I just got a 30-31/30-31/26-27/30-31/26-27/30-31 Adamant Rayquaza
Shall I keep it?
If it's 31 Speed I don't see why not. Minimal difference vs a bunch more time potentially. Though to be honest, having to win a Rayquaza speed tie is probably a situation you never want to be in so 31 might not even matter.

Ok ok, I think so too. I just want some assurance xD
Is there any way to know if it's 31 speed IV though?

For Rayquaza captures in ORAS, you'll have to go through all of the cutscenes before you can even do anything :( Of course, 174 Speed for Jolly and 159 Speed for Adamant should be what you see when you check its stats in the Zinnia fight. But other than that, you'll have to plow through the end of the Delta Episode until you reach the Battle Resort, or check its summary for "Alert to Sounds."

I see. Yes, I'm getting 159 and 187 for normal and mega. Guess I'll go through them now. Hoping for a 31 speed IV.

EDIT: Just confirmed it with the judge. It's 4 IV alright. Imma save now :)

Latios - #381 (Timid)
HP: 31
Att: 10 - 13
Def: 30 - 31
SpA: 30 - 31
SpD: 24 - 26
Speed: 30 - 31

Keep or toss?
Keep that.

In the meantime, I probably got a Careful Groudon that can also Lava Plume when needed.

Careful ORAS Groudon
28-29/31/29-30/31/31/31

Now I wish the Sp. Atk and HP were switched, but I know that 28 is good enough due to my experience soft resetting Groudons in Ruby Version and using those. Even with that, this is still pretty damn exceptional. Note that this is the ONLY reset I will ever do in ORAS for IVs. I'm doing a shiny Reshiram next and since I can RNG for IVs in 5th gen, I can really care less about IVs. Shininess is what I want.

Edit: Official IVs - 28/31/30/31/31/31

By the way, 6th gen soft resetting sucks.

What's so bad about 6th gen soft reset may I ask? Is it the RNG aspect?

Also I got a Jolly Rayquaza with 31/28/31/5/31/31, should I keep this?

Keep. And also, RNGing takes like 10 minutes sometimes vs 6 hours or even days of soft resetting in this game. Plus you already know what spread you're getting.
