Something I just noticed that I think it rather neat is that all Combee cards primarily show female Combee, which makes sense as all are theoretically able to evolve. I guess by this logic all Salandit in cards are female and all pokemon with gender-based evolutions are... Schrödinger's gender until they evolve.
This is my favourite of the bunch. Although there are also male Combee, the female one is front and centre!

I think that Magneton from 151 is one of the best pieces from one of the best artists on the TCG, I love the subtle reflectiveness of the clay and how the blue of Magneton itself contrasts with. whatever is going on in the background there
And though it may not be winning best art from an objective standpoint, it's the best art in my heart:

I love how Ditto's translucency looks here.
I can't tell if Ditto is trying to distance itself from something like "woah there!" or if it's squaring up for a fight like an old-timey boxer, but either way it's hilarious.
I absolutely adore the look of really early CG stuff. Something about it just hits.
The art's cute and all but I'm mainly including this because of the attack name.

I am guessing the intent is its tunneling with like, energy to represent the body being shielded or aerodynamics or...something. But it's a very confusing visual.

There are few ways to show Wailord's actual size while showing all of it. This might be the only way for the TCG to do it and, even ignoring the humor, you've got to love this card for doing that.

Since making this post, Pokemon Pocket as well as some recent and upcoming sets (one even featuring N!) being obscenely popular without much supply has made the entire Pokemon TCG secondary market go crazy. That N Zekrom card has now quadrupled in price to about $8. I guess I got my wish it was more appreciated…?

I guess it's not technically art but this thread reminded me of the custom holo patterns from the Radiant Collections, it's a shame we haven't got more like this since I think it's a really cool idea
TCG Live kinda crushes them, they look way better irl. It also completely butchers Froslass and makes its holo almost impossible to see, which sucks because I think that's one of the best ones.
