After some luck-heavy final 1on1, Groudon80 won the battle (1-0) and I lost, so I'll advance. gg.

Also, I'd like to note that low accuracy moves ALWAYS hit, when you don't want them to : /
 
rofl his shedinja struggled and it killed us both, so it ended 0-0.....now what.

Doesn't self KO clause mean that the user of struggle that KO'd both pokemons loses the match and therefore advances?
 
no please that would be gay as his rules clearly state "Self KO-Clause" which is more of a "do this and be disqualified" kind of thing I would think. Or else any pokemon would just explode at the end, even if it takes down both players.

exactly, so Jackal should advance. And besides Jackals pokemon faints first it does state that meaning he loses and advances.
 
Jynx isnt this list,but was on the signup one, is it still legal?

I lost(as in Hipno moves on), I think. Crazy rules have me confused.

I don't see how limiting switching ruins the tournament. Not limiting switching would lead to endless switching. Rather than withdrawing, you could just give me an idea of how to fix it!

Exeggutor as a Pokemon can only be used on the same team as Groudon.

Yes, I'm considering fixing a few things for next round, but I'm not going to change the rules mid-round.

Jynx is banned, as it's not on the final list.
 
it wasnt just switching rule. also, dont create a tournament if you dont have all the rules in place. had everything been outlined in the beginning, i would have never signed up or comented on this.
 
Maybe make the rule a poke can only swap out the turn after attacking? Stuff still gets hit and one could switch when they needed too.

The three swap rule is a wee bit hard to keep track of.
