There’s something about her voice I don’t quite like. It’s nothing anywhere close to unbearable, but I’m slightly discontent right now. The backing is nice and bouncy, though, and I think her voice will grow on me if I listen to it more often.

A sweet, dreamy song, one that reminds me of another song I’m more familiar with. So dreamy I could fall asleep listening to it. Not a bad thing, necessarily, but not something I want happening while I’m in the middle of judging songs.

Bakuretsu Panie San by tricot

I’ve added a bunch of submitted bands to my Pandora over the course of submissions and judging, but tricot was the first to make me think “I want to listen to this band on a regular basis” upon hearing the first 30 seconds. I like the guitars, and I like the lead singer’s voice. I also like this one slightly more than I like DeDeDe.
