The Cardinals.

I thought so, lol!!

You all are talking about Warner being a possible hall of famer? Well, how about Edgerrin James? He may be at the bottom of his career, but he is 11th ranked all time in rushing yards, and he's only 190 yards behind Jim Brown for 8th on the all-time list (which he can pass in a couple games next season), and has a good career 4.1 YPC. That should be good enough to warrant him into the hall of fame.

I'd like to see Edge get in, and hopefully he will after breaking 8th all time, but he probably needs this SB ring for it more than Warner, since OROTY doesn't really get the attention of 2 NFL MVPs an SB MVP.

Pro Bowl changes:

Jake Long is replacing Jason Peters
Kerry Collins is replacing Brett Favre
Al Harris is replacing Asante Samuel

not Phillip Rivers,
(4009 yards, 65.3%, 34 TD 11 INT, 105.5 rate)

not Chad Pennington,
(3653 yards, 67.4%, 19 TD 7 INT, 97.4 rate)

not even Matt Cassel.
(3693 yards, 63.4%, 21 TD 11 INT, 89.4 rate)

no no, Kerry Collins
(2676 yards, 58.3%, 12 TD 7 INT, 80.2 rate)

is replacing Brett Favre.
(3472 yards, 65.7%, 22 TD 22 INT, 81.0 rate)

lol pro bowl.

also edge is in the HoF because he's got stats and is finally in the Super Bowl. we all forget that he dominated his first two years before his injury. take that injury away and he may be in 7th place all-time rushing right now. but he's definitely not a first ballot inductee. the fact that the colts finally made the big show the year after they let edge go hurts his HoF stock somewhat, imo. but he's still in...eventually.

the Pro Bowl is just an accomplishment for the players, it just shows that they are best of the best. The Pro Bowl is pretty much bullshit to watch though but can be fairly entertaining.. plus its the last NFL you'll watch until preseason in August.

iirc next season they are moving the pro bowl before the super bowl

my bet is that super bowl players are not going to play at all in that game :D

They really need to re-orient the Pro Bowl if they ever want it to be something other than a game no one watches/cares about. More into something like the NBA all star week or something.

excuse me?

don't even

(mr. esc told me this was the best response for this situation)

<Steeler> how do i counter his response
<MrEsc> "Do not even."
<MrEsc> trust me
<MrEsc> this works
<Steeler> are you sure
<MrEsc> it works like a charm
<MrEsc> counters him
<MrEsc> he will quit

(please don't beat me up)

anyways, herm edwards has finally been fired by the chiefs. about time, he is a terrible coach. lol at rumors that shanahan was in talks with kc...

Herm Edwards is done, THANK GOODNESS! A proud franchise over the last 10-15 years went to crap the last few years he's been there. If it wasn't for the new GM, which came from the Patriot's staff, he would of stayed another year. Now, wouldn't it be just be beautiful if Mike Shanahan, the long time super bowl winning Broncos coach, takes the job at their rival Chiefs to spite them! It wasn't Shanahan's fault for 4 losses down the stretch with a team that had a horrible defense and a RB that saw a whopping SIX RB's on IR by the end of the year!

Man just so you don't end up with that piece of shit in your house...GO CARDS!

and I just hate the Steelers anyway. >.<
Same here. Ever since the Steelers won in that fluke of a Super Bowl a couple of years ago against my Seahawks I hate them. And I do want to see Kurt Warner win another Super Bowl, probably the last good season he'll have in the long run.

One week until Super Bowl. I can't wait! Gotta get money set-aside for the big party!

I want the Steelers to win...............but I will be a very bold man and pick the Cardinals to win.

I don't hate the Steelers, but it's the Cardinals first Superbowl, and I'd love to see them win it, and especially see Warner with one more ring, plus rings for guys like Fitzgerald, Boldin, James, etc.

Plus, I figure if the Cards can do it, my God, the Saints have to do it one day... right?

Is it *really* Herman Edwards' fault that the entire KC team broke down all at once, particularly along the offensive and defensive lines, their QBs kept getting hurt, and their franchise RB got run into the ground?
