I was annoyed that the Vish trade only got like one Milbury on puckdaddy because it sure looks like the Ducks stole that one to me, traded an overvalued D who wasn't working out for them to begin with for maybe the most undervalued defensemen in the league. Losing Pronger and WHitney I wonder if the Ducks management is moving in a different direction, though - they seem to be getting a lot less rough and tough with every move they make.
Wolski deal was largely salary related I believe (RFA they don't want to pay with their other young guys), though it's an interesting risk. If Mueller somehow plays to potential that's a nice deal for them, and if not they probably couldn't afford to keep him anyway. Definitely a short-term downgrade though, which is odd for a team that is securing a playoff berth.
Buffalo's trade was my favorite of the day though, traded nothing for a fairly valuable RFA commodity.
