I'm curious if anybody else feels like the NHL is headed back towards the pre-lockout days. I've noticed a lot of players getting away with interference lately. I also feel like I've seen a lot more boring games this year than the previous few years. Even Brooks Orpik admits that the refs are letting more slide now:

I read somewhere that Stamkos, DSedin, Kessel and Moulson are the ONLY players in the NHL with 28+ goals in 09/10, 10/11 and 11/12. Time to start calling players for interference again. I'm bored of dump and chase hockey and these 1-4 forecheck strategies full of neutral zone and blueline clogging.
I agree 100 fucking million percent. I'll tell anyone who will listen how BORING I find hockey now.
Last night's Bruins-Sabres game was a prime example of how much grabbing is let go these days. Jets-Sabres was the same thing, and the Sabres just don't have the size to win those games when their speed is minimized with interference.
