i am watching and find it entertaining

edit: or do you mean "[I'm] not watching, what's going on?" in which case the penguins are controlling the play, both teams are being really physical and keep fighting each other, the flyers keep taking penalties etc, but pittsburgh is down 2-0 despite all that hehe

Yeah the latter is what I meant! Good to know.

St. Louis is in big trouble....

lol at the broom.

I think the flyers can come back in this. Game 2 was incredibly close and they showed a lot in game 3, mainly that they can in fact score. Plus if they win game 4 all the pressure is on Pitt since they'd have blown a 2 game lead and Pitt will defiantly be pressured to win game 5 since they don't want to go into philly with a chance of getting knocked out.

Philly could have won game 2 if they didn't take those bonehead penalties, so yeah they still have a good shot in the series. St. Louis and Calgary need some production from the power play. I swear whenever I'm watching the St Louis series they are not scoring on a 5 on 3.

I've never felt how it was to be in a position of power in a playoff series before. This is sort of cool.

Their power play is bullshit and they dont shoot enough....

Yeah, the last time the Canucks swept a playoff series was 3-0 over the Flames in 1982 (best of 5), and they haven't been up 3-0 in a series since then, so this is new territory.

I wonder if Backes will be suspended for cross-checking Henrik Sedin in the face at the end of the game?

I dont know but somehow I think St. Louis can still manage one game...at least one game, please.

Yeah and I think we were the underdogs in every series this decade except that time against the Flames... when we lost anyway.

Is anyone else curious about anaheim being up 2-0 against the sharks? Is it a matter of anaheim coming on very strongly or the sharks shitting the bed? I haven't been watching that series.

^ I think it's a combination of both. SJ's best line has arguably been Pavelski/Michalek/Clowe, which isn't good news. On the other end, we have Hiller who has been amazing in net.

Well Kariya IS speculated to play game 4, so we'll see how that works out. In other news, same old shit happening in SJ (No Thornton, Marleau etc.)
Marleau has had an unrealistic year for him, since he usually blows big time for about half the season. Thornton, I am disappointing. I wonder if a line juggle wouldn't be best right now, switch things up and get Marleau down a line and move up someone else.

Yeah I was just reading that too. I hope he gets a couple goals in the series he doesn't deserve the choke artist label people will give him if he doesn't.

Yeah well he is kinda choking though, I mean, as the regular season leading scorer, you need to put pucks in the net during the playoffs. If I remember correctly, this happened last year too?

I just looked it up he had 4 goals and 5 assists in 7 games last years playoffs. Not up to his season averages but pretty good. It just bothered me while watching one of the Pens games that Clement or someone was saying that Crosby was the best player in the NHL because he's more of a team player. Come on Crosby's surrounded by better players and Ovie's better defensively too. It probably more that I don't want him to get labeled that than him not deserving it though.

I dont see how they could say Crosby is the best player in the NHL when, even last year, his team manage on just fine without him.

I'm going to go ahead and nominate chicago for 'sorest losers' in the NHL.

Man, all that after the play shit, breaking the stick on bourques back and then having your tough(er) guy go after him...fuck man, if they think they can intimidate a team like the flames with that shit, they can guess again.
