Don't use Waivers, wait a few days and pick him up from Free Agents so you don't sacrifice your waiver position unless you already had the last pick, if he didn't get drafted no one will pick him up before them. I'd be careful if he ends up at C/LW like last year(I'm unsure what he is currently), having two players of the same position on the same team creates issues fitting people in, I find.
You're anywhere from respectable to decent at D since there's some degree of unpredictability with Niedermeiyer, Weber, and Liles having such big performances gaps from last year - I drafted the later two in smogon's league last year and ended up dropping both of them but in theory they 'should' be more like they were two years ago as solid fantasy defenseman.
Your strongest position is definitely Center - Staal and Spezza are both #1 Centers and Marleau has the upside to be one even though he was more like a weak #3 last year. It's debatable whether you have a #1 RW or LW(Rolston and Pominville are kinda 'maybes' in that department although as a Devils fan I really hope so for the former ~_~) but the main thing that worries me is the fact you don't have a third RW - you definitely need one on your roster. Obviously you can't fit one on currently but it's usually best to have 3C 3RW 3LW and then either 4D or 2G if you don't have a lot of players who are eligible at multiple positions to let you be more flexible, which is never the case in the preseason. I personally would drop Hainsey, I don't think I would touch a Thrasher this year other than Kovalchuk or Lehtonen and while Hainsey is probably going to end up with decent fantasy stats if you ignore +/- Enstrom is the rising star on that blue line and will probably be competition for the ideal situations - with Zidlicky gone Weber "should" have a better year . Liles is an issue for many of the same reasons as Hainsey(+/- is not going to be good on a team with two backup goaltenders) but he has a lot more offensive upside and is easily the best offensive defenseman on his roster.
If you can deal a Center to upgrade at LW(there's probably someone perfectly decent on Waivers at C anyway) or RW(ideally), I would do so but Center is the deepest in fantasy hockey by a wide margin so you'll likely have a bit of an issue there.
Just my analysis, one of the other guys might have a better second opinion!
