best team in hockey, what's up
the eastern conference all-star team?? cause that doesn't count.. i'm confused...........................
best team in hockey, what's up
lol mormoo the NW division is like tier 1: minnesota, tier 2: the other four. To say the wild will miss the playoffs is ludicrous!
i wouldnt be shocked if all 5 teams made it though, to compliment the sharks, red wings and stars
except whoever beat them in ot
And just for reference, you don't earn that number one seed each year by just beating division rivals.. you have to, you know, win a lot in general.
To add to everything..
Detroit's record against the Western conference: 47-19-6
Against the Pacific division: 15-5-0
Against the NW division: 15-2-3
Against the Central division: 17-12-3
The Wings were just above .500 against in division rivals in terms of actual wins and losses whereas all other records are much stronger. Looking at it another way, 60% of the Wings' losses in the Western conference, both regulation and OT, came against the central. Detroit was also 7-2-1 against those they played in the Eastern conference. I will concede that Detroit didn't play any games against arguably the toughest eastern division, the Atlantic, but that's beside the point.
I don't think that's possible, let alone realistic. Can you imagine how much of a scheduling nightmare it would be to try and have two teams share the same "Home" rink? That, and the fact that divisions in hockey are geogrphical, and so Toronto2 would pretty much have to move into the NorthEast, maybe pumping out Boston.the main suggestion seemed to be adding another team (probably a moved one) to the air canada centre in Toronto.
So the Bruins/Sabres game was full of lots of things that probably should have been penalties as well as Ryan Amillerazing.
^That, of course, is 'purely speculative', as I said. The NHL just won't let it die, keeps talking about it and saying "It certainly has some merit". What do you guys think?
They are geographical, but lets be even more realistic when we talk about that, seeing as there are teams in the west that dont belong in the west.I don't think that's possible, let alone realistic.
