There is a merit to both sides of this, I mean, Kipper did have that ridiculous 26 save first period run with the Wings, but in general, I don't think Calgary can keep up and neither can Kipper.
 
Kipper is so inconsistent. It's a curse that Calgary has, as soon as they pay someone alot of money they shit the bed (except iginla).
 
when do you guys wanna hook up for 09? We have to schedule a time. It's a shame we lost WER though...we had chemistry!!
 
Where did WER go? But in any case, probably thursday/friday/saturday nights are the best for me for the next 3 weeks and then after any night...
 
Oh garbage. Yeah we really do need to get playing again though, and at least try to finish the season on a high before NHL 10 comes out!
 
Great game against vancouver. Gagner's goal was a pretty surprising one since it was actually... good.

Shame though that we still have to beat LA and Calgary twice to even attempt making the playoffs. And considering how Calgary is playing now and how LA plays.. always, then this shouldn't be too hard at all lol. (That is if Rollie stays on his game and Gagner and Hemsky skore some goddamn goals.)

If calgary wins against vancouver next game, we are division champs (I'll bet you one dignity that calgary wins that one, Jason)

Also Peters, the super nooblet, versus some monster from L.A.- one of the best fights I've seen all year!

BTW: CONROY FOR MASTERON 2009! I am shocked someone that isn't Iginla is nominated, but if they are seriously they must be better than Jesus.
 
i know this is a few days old but who saw malkin get absolutely decked by ballard and then criesby came to his rescue and also got wrecked before just pulling ballard down

cindy crosby is such an idiot, he shoulda got 19 minutes for that:

5 for fighting, 10 misconduct, 2 for instigating and 2 for unsportsmanlike visor

Mousetrap, are you saying that the three analysts that said it on sportsnet west were wrong then? I'm pretty sure they are more qualified to say that crapsby deserved 19 minutes for what he did than some obvious fanboy (ie you). I think you need to learn the rules and then watch that replay again, you might be surprised.

Actually, making up derogatory nicknames may well show intelligence because some of them can be really witty.

Ironically, people from Sportsnet Ontario didn't say anything about it (in fact they said Ballard dropped the gloves first).
 
That is very odd, Brophy out here was saying that crosby was the aggressor.

How does it work if someone is coming right at you but you just beat them to dropping the gloves? Who gets the potential aggressor call?
 
that was such a monster hit on malkin and fairly clean imo

the funniest part about the whole thing was that bill guerin just stood there watching while crosby dropped the gloves. isn't it more guerin's job to throw some punches and crosby's job to spectate in that scenario?

poor habs.. they wanted this to be their year so badly and nothing has really gone right at all for them this season. normally you could say there's always next year but with all those potential free agents..
