And gretzky was a crybaby bitch too; he should be reguarded as the best player of his position in his era, not the best player overall. The game is different now and comparing someone like scott stevens (very good at what he did, same era) to gretzky isn't even fair based on point totals alone.

Man I'm a bitter jerk. That being said, Ovetchkin is monsterously talented compared to every other forward in the league whose role is to score.

but in all seriousness they look to keep the tradition of hiring old players that aren't necessarily good or experienced enough at coaching. i have no idea why they keep doing this...

but I was actually looking forward to watching these last two games against Calgary; now they seem a bit pointless :/

they matter(ed) alot. Calgaty needed the win tonight to help clinch division title, so they play columbus instead of chicago, who has raped us all year long.

The flames had 15 fucking skaters tonight. Regehr was downed last game even. It's just hideous how poorly planned the cap was by the flames, as if injuries cannot happen.

As it stands, the flames are almost totally done at this point and look to be well on their way to a 0-4 record. Their powerplay is just atrocious, hasn't scored in like 30 attempts in a row.

neither do I that much, I'd honestly prefer to have sutter back as the GM/coach, but that won't be happening anytime soon.
