The Everything NHL Thread

I feel sorry for Carey Price. xd He hasn't played well since the injury near the All-Star break, which, may I remind you, he only played in because of fan pressure. Habs fans shot themselves in the foot on this one.

I don't think that's true. I'm sure people were happy to see him play but I remember no such fan pressure. Team management didn't even want him to play the game, he seemed to be the one that wanted it badly.

They might be the worst fans if you lose but they are best fans if you win.

I enjoyed the fans chanting Carbo's name to mock Bob Gainey's decision to fire him.

Not gonna lie, I'd rather have okays fans if you lose and okay fans if you win as compared to the swings Montreal has!

Ha! Sharks lose again... Man what a disappointment. 3-1... Anyone think they pull another comeback like they did against the Stars a few years back?

The flames have high expectations like montreal, but we don't flip out when the flames lose. We just get disappointed and want answers, which is fair considering the price of a standing room only ticket at the dome inflated to $175 this first round!

Speaking of the flames (as usual), tomorrow is make or break!

Yea hes been good, combined with the punishing pressure and defense of the Ducks. Its like if the Sharks were just walking dolls.
The Sharks have this issue in the playoffs of never getting contributions from players that need to be doing things. When your best players are Joe Pavelski and Dan Boyle you are having a problem. Don't get my wrong, Boyle should be and is producing, but where is Thornton, Marleau, Setegouchi, the list goes on and on...

i mean i've seen throwing a 3-0 lead at home against the penguins (i am an isles fan after all) but that is generally something you do not do if you are facing elimination

What do you guys think about the NYR coach squirting and throwing the waterbottle at a fan? Haha what the hell was he thinking.

especially against a unit like the pens

I have a couple that you probably never got to see Moi, but the rest of the group has seen them, so i am going to link my newer ones and then you can go back and browse my profile if you want.

This is a pretty dirty wrap around.

This is a sick one hand five-hole goal.

I have a ton more saved that I havent gotten around to uploading, but I think someday I will and make a highlight reel.

It is entirely possible, and it is also possible that the other three series can go to 7 too, which is kinda ridiculous for a first round but it just shows how competitive the rest of the NHL is.

For example, the Sharks are actually looking decent now, so i could see them taking the series to 7. Capitals are already going to 7, and then Carolina could push a 7 tonight, and then the Hawks/Flames have been so bouncy that that is possible too.
