51 fucking shots to 17; yes Anderson is a good goalie but that's disgraceful. I don't follow hockey as much as the other three major American sports but no wonder we have the label of choke artists!
 
why sharks.. ya they miss dany heatley, but 51 shots... and a terrible ending.. fuk this shit. another year of choking or bad luck. I swear sharks are the best in tearing up small opponents during the season, but lose to every team in the playoffs that isnt named Nashville, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Calgary -.-
 
I went to game 3 today in the Detroit-Phoenix series and have to say that I was really disappointed with the way Detroit played. They just didn't look like they wanted it. Phoenix was outworking them throughout most of the game and in all of the key plays. It doesn't help that Detroit was too shy to throw any pucks at the net.

Let's just hope that it was their overconfidence of bringing the series back to the Joe. I still have confidence that Detroit can win this thing in 6 games.
 
Anyone else from the Washington area in here? I hate to say I was getting worried, but tonight's performance has really lifted my spirits. Varly is playing like a monster!
 
After two periods, I'm about to throw up in my mouth. The Sabres used up everything they had in the tank back in 2009.

also vezina finalists are no surprise really, I think miller has it.

Disagree with the Vezina noms(though I agree it isn't surprising). Pretty obviously a two horse race that I'm kinda indifferent on, rooting Miller but if Bryzgalov gets it I won't be mad - it's a pity they can't tie, they're both a much better option than anyone last year, that's for sure. Many goalies I'd have like to see over Brodeur though - namely Rask and Howard.
 
Agreed, but you still can't overlook how well Marty played this year.

Also, fuck the Sabres. Fuck the Bruins, too, but fuck the Sabres.
 
I still have to go with Miller for the Vezina this year. The Sabres would NOT be where they are without Miller, and I frankly wouldn't be surprised if he won MVP as well. As for top three goalies of the season, I would have to go with Miller, Brodeur, and Howard.
 
Going into OT in Boston. Referee cocksuckers are doing everything in their power to give Boston the game. I might vomit.

i do believe i called that loss, i just have no more faith in marty after watching him play baseball in the olympics. Not to mention they made boucher look like prime brodeur himself...
 
Holy fuck the Sens vs Pens game was unbelievable. So glad it's over so that I can finally start my homework. Leclaire makes 56 saves, what a champ. Too bad Ottawa could not get a call, but oh well. I guess any team playing the Penguins can expect the same treatment.
