Don't count on Crosby tearing it up after all these potential career ending injuries. It's a shame, but I think he is going to go the way of the Lindros.

So 9 points (so far) in 4 games.. little early still but if that's not coming back and "tearing it up" then I don't know what is.

Lol, apparently Nikita Filatov ended up in the American Hockey League equivalent of the KHL. How sad. And apparently, Eric Fehr won't be getting signed by Winnipeg, meaning he'll probably end up in the free agents list. 2 goals and 1 assist in 35 games is sad, for a guy that makes 2.2 million dollars per year.

The caps just had to get one point didn't they. Even if we beat them tonight....doesn't look too good for us. Even the stars might not make it now I'll have no one to cheer for except to bandwagon the Penguins

Agreed about the Caps. Now for the Sabres, it all comes down to beating them in regulation in Washington. UGH. But Hodgson put up 4 points in the last two games, Foligno is on a tear, and Miller is 11-1-3 in his past 15 games only giving up 29 goals. As far as I'm concerned, the 8th spot is ours to lose, not gain.

And I was really hoping for a Sens collapse so the Jets could come play too, but it just didn't happen. I hate how in the East there are always huge gaps in the standings, whereas in the West you can jump 7 spots with one win. It makes the playoff race so fucking boring.

As for the Bruins, I don't really like their chances right now. As it stands, they'd play the Sens in the first round, and unless they get healthier asap I definitely see them losing that matchup.

Can the NHL get someone who doesn't sound so damn monotone for these ads?

I like the idea, but the voice is pretty weak and they need some diversity in the subjects.

@ Eastern Conference stuff: Predicted WSH 3 BUF 7 FLA 8 a while ago, looking better after the last week or so. Wish both FLA and OTT would fall out because I think Washington, Buffalo, and Winnipeg are much more interesting teams but the schedule just isn't going to allow that after Florida had that 5 game streak. Pity.

Kings for Pacific prediction looking less bold now too but standing by that with San Jose and Phoenix in the last two slots. Pity about Colorado... would have predicted them if they didn't have Vancouver twice still this season. Look for Sharks/Avs next week to be great though.

Yes indeed. We just knocked off the Rangers in NY, and the Jets remembered how to score and helped us pull even with the Caps.

Shit is ON, niggas.

I'm hoping Florida makes it, and its looking like they will. I know they don't have very many fans, but 12 years out of the playoffs is a long time to wait and the few hardcore fans that exist deserve to see them have some sort of success for once. It'd be nice to see Winnipeg grab eighth in the East, but they really needed Buffalo to lose tonight and to beat Washington in regulation which didn't happen. The last few spots in the West are going to be crazy close, but I'm guessing San Jose rises up and snags a spot from Dallas. But its so close, that's really just a wild guess.

I love being able to sit back and watch the playoff race unfold. (:

If they take the Coyotes, I will find Gary Bettman and smash his face through a brick wall.

And fuck yeah Sabres, my boys aren't fucking around.
