Welp, goodbye playoffs. We didn't have a shot anyway.

I thought the steelers were the second best team in the afc and it wasnt even close? Haha people continue to underrate the broncos, the best team in the afc.

that was DeAngelo Hall vs Steve Smith levels of thuggery from both sides, and pretty embarrassing as someone who isn't even a fan of either team. it clearly made Beckham play much more poorly, as he was basically invisible in the 2nd and 3rd quarters aside from the fights and only started making plays after he stopped.

Why is it embarrassing though? He was angry and upset and couldn't handle it. Completely understandable in that situation. ODB has shown the most emotion of any player this season for the giants, i applaud his fight in a game you are losing by 28 points. The only embarrassing moment that game was the dropped pass at the start.

ODB needs 110 and 100 yards in the final games to reach 1600. I seriously need this to happen.

anybody who thinks this isn't embarrassing either needs to get their head out of their ass or is just a terrible moral human being. I'm sorry, whatever you think about football that makes you even suggest that this is acceptable action needs to stop. That's just terrible, sorry.

Seriously, OBJ should've been ejected today, and will probably be fined for his actions. This was just flat out shameful. Norman has shut down everybody he's faced, and people are retaliating (hi dez bryant). Cheap shots like this are flat out unacceptable. I'm actually one of Odell's biggest supporters, and let's face it, the guy does everything well (he can even play PIANO). This, however, is shameful.

YFTYFTHFHFGJHJGJGJKGJKHGBHJKGHUKGJFVHLHJLKHKKPIURUTTSED BEN WTF

Edit: nevermind in an incredibly ironic twist Pittsburgh's offense was bailed out by their secondary

You thought correctly. I'm glad we agree on this, great minds think alike after all.

I'm glad you didn't use that post for some premature coronation of the Broncos, that woulda be pretty embarrassing hahaha

I was waiting for another one of his "this single half removed from the massive mountain of other games proves Eli > Big Ben" posts tbh

Steelers are my pick 2 make the SB from the AFC rn

Not sure they'll be able to beat Denver again if they have to play in Denver, though. They could beat Cincinnati at home I'm sure but it's unlikely they'd be able to do again what they did today against a defense that amazing. And even if they did, they'd have to travel to New England to face a Patriots team starting to get healthy again. Obviously as a fan I'm cheering my lungs out for my team, but I can't be naive or unrealistic in my expectations.

Damn, both Green Bay and Minnesota won. North Division and the two wild cards are getting interesting. And the three contenders in AFC all won. Hell, Kansas City has a shot at division.

So we learned that the QB platoon of TJ Yates and and Brandon Weeden is better than Matt Hasslebeck and Clipboard Jesus. This is a sentence that I bet no one thought they would be typing in the year 2015.

I would like to see ODB get suspended the last two games of the season he was a dirtbag all game and the the helmet to helmet hit was pure dirty he ran after Norman to hit him in the head.

Rumor is only 1 game suspension. As I said already, its shameful and immature, and anybody who thinks he shouldn't be suspended is a person I don't want to be a football fan anymore. There is a difference between being okay about this and just throwing morals aside and cheap shotting your opponents. What about Malcolm Butler and Antonio Brown week 1? The end of that matchup, even though Butler won, was them showing nothing but respect, especially on Brown's side. Hell, even Sherman vs. Brown, and Sherman vs. Dez Bryant. Apparently OBJ can't do the same. Its very fun to watch 2 of the best go head to head, and we've seen it several times this season; the respect should be there, and sometimes those players need to take a step back and say "wow, what a battle". Instead, we saw a shameful street match between these two because OBJ can't keep his head. Awful.

I'll eat my hat if Odell Beckham doesn't play on primetime next Sunday night.

As fair as a suspension would be, (specifically for the spearing, the punches being thrown were by both sides, but like they said during the game that's a potentially career ending move) ODB is the new poster boy of the NFL. Andrew Luck has been hurt, so the 24 hour sports network needs someone else young to talk about, not that he hasn't deserved it. As terrible as it is, and it is terrible, ODB's antics made that game watchable during the second and third quarters, and the NFL is aware that benching him even just one game will cost them a lot of money, and potentially more if the Giants are still in playoff contention come week 17 (after all, how often is there an NFC East SNF game on the last week of the season?)

Don't be surprised if ODB is not suspended, or if his appeal isn't heard until after the regular season and he gets to play it out anyway (reminder here that Aqib Talib got his appeal instantly rejected after an eye gouge earlier this season, and remember to thank overlord Goodell for his double standards later this week).

Edit: apparently he was just suspended a half hour ago, but I still suspect some appeal shenanigans :^)

Lol you people are hilariously bipolar. Wanting him to fail? Get over yourselves.

Dude is young, of course he's immature. He fucked up big time and EVERYBODY is going to make sure he knows it. He's getting punished for his actions, as he should be. This dude is possibly the most talented NFL player in the league right now, and the game vs Norman was the first real adversity he's faced in his career. If anything I'm hopeful this will be a lesson learned and will spur him to greater heights.

i know my stance on the matter will keep ODB awake at night, thinking about what he has done.
