The Gauntlet - Round 4

All extended matches have until tomorrow at midnight. I normally wouldn't be so remiss about activity pushes or coin flips, but seeing as each round impacts the next round in this tournament, it's very important that matches actually get done. If they are not done by midnight tomorrow (my time, GMT-4), I will be pushing people and killing random Pokemon.

I'm seriously not a whiner, but this PI-Dimension guy is really annoying. I got his VM when I got home, so I replied to him instantly and have been on CAP waiting for him to battle. I've been waiting over 30 minutes now (from 8:48pm to 9:26pm to be exact). He is online and is active. I know because whenever I click on his profile, he's viewing a different RMT thread.

I don't know what's up with him.

the round 4 deadline is in 2 days, can i advance already please

SOMALIA hasn't been online since august 8th, need i say more?

Locopoke moves on by activity (and because his opponent broke the rules during the one match they did play), PI-Dimension moves on by coin flip (both were equally active, but it just never happened). Take note of the 3 random Pokemon that you lost for the pushes. I will be online tonight if you want to contest those losses by battling me. (Note the rules for that in the first post)

That's pretty ghetto. Just because both persons are "equally" active means a coin flip will happen? The dude has been evading the battle with me, not the other way around. So if he's equally active with his next opponent, another coin flip will result?

And he'll continue moving on that way?

You should also take his previous battle activity record into account. I was prompt to get my match done; his last match also went into extension because he's a punk.

How about we each battle YOU (Rising_Dusk)? Whoever defeats you moves on. That sounds more fair to me.

Ugh, whatever.

Yes, that is in the tournament rules, which by signing up for the tournament you agreed to.

He has been diligent in the past and I have seen no signs of him intentionally avoiding the battle with you. Because I have no reason to believe that he is intentionally avoiding you, I am obliged to give both you and he fair chance to move on, which is 50/50.

Because that is not how the tournament works.

I am sorry that luck played out against you, but in order to maintain fairness in the tournament, I cannot and will not reverse my decision. If you are adamant that I have mistreated you or that your case for PI-Dimension's intent to evade the match is indeed provable with evidence, then please PM me your evidence and I will discuss it with a tournament director.
