As you walk in you notice that while you're freezing the Pokemon here seem to be enjoying the cold. This whole expansive corridor is little more than a giant skating rink. You surmise the small holes in the sides of the room are the nests for all the Pokemon. As you cross towards the end of the arena, you notice the Pokemon playing a game. Swinub and Delibird appear to have set up a soccer match using a ball of ice. Unfortunately, both of them are blocking your way and don't appear friendly.
Player Options:
a) Take on the Swinub.
b) Take on the Delibird.
(M) Nature: Brave (+1 Atk, Spe/1.15, -10 Eva) Type: Rock Rock: Rock STAB; Reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.
Abilities: Sturdy: (Innate) This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing damage from an opponents attacks by one (1) damage. The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) damage. Sand FOrce (DW-LOCKED): (Innate) This Pokemon thrives in Sandstorm conditions, using the power of the swirling sand to augment its Rock, Ground, and Steel-typed attacks. Each of this Pokemon's Rock, Ground, and Steel-typed attacks will have two (2) added to their Base Attack Power. Pokemon with this ability are immune to Sandstorm damage.
You come across an area of the crag that is more unstable than the others. Earthquakes seem to randomly average this area, causing you to lose your footing, but aside from physical movement, the area seems entirely unscathed. It's entirely possible this could be the work of a Pokemon rather than an actual feature of the area. In any case you can see down two paths, one where a few small rocks rumble visibly, while the other is calm. You surmise the quakes are coming from that area.
Player Options:
a) Enter towards the quakes and inspect what is going on.
b) Continue onward and ignore the quakes.
c) Stay and see if something happens.
Inside you find that while there is a machine generating the quakes, it appears to be dying down. Unfortunately you have company. ARampardos appears to rummaging through the territory. As it spots you, it dashes behind you and creates a Rock Slide, trapping you behind at the camp. Only one of your Pokemon will be able to muscle through the area and face the Rampardos, but it appears it is otherwise content to leave you alone.
Player Options:
Choose which of your Pokemon will take on Rampardos (note: This is a Rare Encounter and not a Trap. The difference is you get the choice of Pokemon to send but it is singles until one of them is knocked out, your team does not join the fight after 2 rounds like in a trap.) You should then also issue that Pokemon's actions against Rampardos.
Bah. At least Seed Bomb is dealing pitiful damage.
Kii: Rock Slide - Smack Down (A) Enbi: Water Pulse (A) - Water Gun (A)
IF (Delibird B is hit by Rock Blast) THEN (Redirect Water Gun to B) Ilyana: Rock Blast (B) - chill
IF (You are flinched A1) THEN (Use Rock Blast (A) A2)
Ilyana: Rock Blast - chill
IF (Delibird uses Fly A1) THEN (Use Thunder Wave - Rock Blast as your actions instead) Kii: Rock Slide - Smack Down
IF (Delibird uses Fly A1) THEN (Use chill A1 instead) Enbi: Water Pulse - Water Gun
IF (Delibird uses Protect on A2) THEN (chill instead)
(M) Nature: Rash (+SpA, -SpD) Type: Rock Rock: Rock STAB; Reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.
Abilities: Mold Breaker: (Innate) Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, Volt Absorb will not absorb electric attacks, Clear Body does not prevent stat-drops, etc.) Sheer Force [DW-LOCKED]: (Can Be Enabled) This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with secondary effect chances less than 100%. When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with an effect chance less than 100% increases by two (2), but they will never have a secondary effect.
Alright, my active party will stay the same, but items will change a little bit. Weavile gets a Razor Claw, Slowking gets Wise Glasses, and Infernape gets the Expert Belt.
Cold Storage
As you continue in this frigid palace, you come upon a blocks of solid ice, within which you find two item containers. Elated at the find, you send out your Pokemon to examine it. You feel like maybe you have a tool on one of your Pokemon to break it or thaw the ice. Do you pursue this at the risk of being attacked by a wild Pokemon as you do so?
Player Options:
A) Thaw / Break the ice!
B) Ignore this and continue before you draw attention from the wildlife.
Vista
You come to a beautiful vista that overlooks Timeless Tower. You can spot the bridge you came here in, and you still look up at the massive height of the main tower. You can spot the Iron Dungeon from here as well. There is some room to move up and get a better view, though there might be wild Pokemon here.
Player Options:
a) Approach the edge of the Vista.
b) Stay close to the wall and move on.
Hmm, let's stay close to the Vista wall to hopefully avoid any traps. However, Weavile, lead our party and scare off any traps that we may or may not encounter.
You have Great Wall use Rock Slide on the ice [5 EN], breaking it and revealing the items. You examine it and find that it is a
Water Gem and a
Great Ball, much to your glee! As you pocket it, a slow rumble comes from just to your left; you and your Pokemon turn to it, and right before you is a Vanilluxe!
It seemd Great Wall has overextended itself in breaking the ice and fallen through the block! It will take two rounds of battle before the rest of your team can fight their way through, so it looks like it's up to your Legendary Pokemon to go it along for a little. As if to stack the odds further Vanilluxe calls forth Rain and also Automizes itself!

Caution prevails and you continue onward. It was a rather nice view though.
Petrified Forest: Guardian Battle
The Petrified Forest is a desolate arena full of trees encased in magma long ago that have since solidified into solid rock. Although a light to the outside world still shines through, the place is so dusty and gloomy that the very sight of it depresses your spirit.
As you enter, you can't help but think you're being watched. On a pedestal there appears to be a bottle of Fresh Water for no explicable reason, with a small tree on one side. It's possible the item could heal one of your Pokemon for 50 HP. Do you go for it? You also see an exit going further into the treacherous tower.
Player Options:
a) Go for the Fresh Water.
b) Move for the exit.

As if you actually thought the exit would be safe too. Just as you begin to move for it the pile of rocks before it begins to move. Once the rocks float up into the air it soon becomes apparent that those rocks were actually a particularly angry Boulderdash. Not to be outdone the tree you were so keen to avoid also springs to life, and Sudowoodo soon joins the fray. The guardians of Rock Crag have sprung their trap, and you are going to have to play your hand first.
