Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
without dire consequence, and as you do so the golem springs back to life and the other two levers sit ominously while the statue blocks your path. Looks like you will need to pull another one.
Player Options:
a) Pull the left lever.
b) Pull the centre lever.
The gear golem shifts to the right, revealing a cache of items on pedestals. They could be booby-trapped. Unfortunately the golem has stopped moving, and there's still two other levers. You try them, but they are stuck. Looks like you'll need to chance it. The items are a Silk Scarf
, 1 Ether
and an Ice Gem
Player Options:
a) Go for one item.
b) Go for two items.
c) Go for three items.
The Gear Golem moves back and locks into place, revealing a stairwell that will allow you to move on.
Scrapyard
You come to an abandoned scrapyard. As you look around there seems to be little of value, however you imagine there's a few abandoned appliances here. You spot an array of broken down appliances. You could probably take one with you, it seems a Rotom used to inhabit it and it has enough energy to fit in one of your Pokeballs, at least until you leave.
Player Options:
a) Grab an appliance.
b) Move onward.
You pull the left lever and the gear golem springs to life and rotates to the left, extending its arms. The room rotates and a corridor to the left opens up. The left lever breaks in your hand. The golem powers down and you find you can't budge the other levers. You'll need to power it again. You look back but find the original entrance is sealed. With nowhere to go, you venture left, and you find a power source... or more accurately, it finds you. A Magneton greets you and uses a Magnetic Field to bounce forward your Regice. It won't dispel for two rounds. Magneton generates another field and rises further from the ground, then glows red and targets your pokemon with red rings. (-11EN, Magnet Rise, Lock-On)
By ignoring the scrap you are able to move on without consequence. The next room awaits you.
Iron Maiden Guardian Battle
You enter a bland, iron-colored area with few defining features. This whole tower appears cold, hollow, and heavy, and this room is no exception. You come down the end of the hall to a dead end and find yourself frustrated. You look around and notice how wide the place is. This is a hall and must be at least 15 feet wide. The size of the place begins to make your heart sink. Sadly, the only thing left at the end of this hallway is 10 foot tall a statue of a woman in full battle dress. She holds a shield and a sword, but both look like they can be taken. The expression on the statue's face is entirely wooden, it appears she'll be displeased with any decision. Both objects look extraordinarily heavy but maybe you can use one of them, which one will you choose?
Player Options:
a) Go for the sword.
b) Grab the shield.
(also alter your team at all if you wish)
Thunderbolt (Regice)
Thunder (Regice)
IF Regice protects THEN use Flash Cannon (Boulderdash) instead
IF Regice is KOed THEN use Flash Cannon (Boulderdash) instead
Is the Mawile Hasty or Mild? It says Mild, but it wouldn't have +Acc if it was Mild...
Let us begin.

Going headstrong into things sword in hand isn't always the best tactic, because as soon as you reach for the blade a large set of jaws appears from the darkness and quite frankly scares the crap out of your Pokemon! It of course reveals itself to be a Mawile and before you even get a chance to recover the Klang everyone was expecting comes in from behind. You're definitely starting this battle on the back foot.

You come to perhaps the oddest structure you've ever seen. No, it's not the fact you're looking at a bunch of trees and grass in the middle of what to this point has been a bland, lifeless dungeon. It's more the fact that every single trunk, branch, and blade is made out of solid steel. It's still flexible enough for some semblance of wind to impact it, but otherwise this is the oddest combination of nature and hard metal you've ever seen.
Over to the side you see a thorny patch of grass blocking the way to the exit on the other side. It appears to be a nest of some sort, but the only other way around requires you to go through densely packed trees. Neither path looks safe, and as you look around you can here the inhabitants of the area swarming around you. Time to make a decision.
Player Options:
a) Go through the thorny briar.
b) Go through the dense woods.
