The Legend Run: (Engineer Pikachu | Kaxtar) Timeless Tower

Slowking: Slack Off~Heal Pulse Togekiss
Togekiss: Thunder Wave~Protect

Also, since next round I plan on trying to capture Vanilluxe, maybe you could speed up this battle if I tell you my actions for future rounds DeadFox? Next round, I want to use a Lure Ball. Should the Lure Ball fail to catch Vanilluxe, I want to use a Sport Ball the next round.

Spr_BW_Scientist_M.png

It was another trap, just like I expected... We'll have to fight our way through this one. Ilyana, just do the best you can.

Ilyana: Bullet Seed (B) - Helping Hand (Enbi)
IF (B uses Protect) THEN (Redirect to S and make A2 Bullet Seed (B) if on A1; Bullet Seed S if on A2)

Enbi: Hydro Pump (B) - Water Pulse (B)
IF (B uses Protect) AND (B has not used Protect in the round already) THEN (Redirect to S)

Maila: Glare (B) - Arm Thrust (B)
IF (B uses Protect A1) THEN (Swap A1 and A2, redirecting the now-A1 to S)

Sorry about the small delay, back onto it all now

You pause in the storage area to make an attempt at readying your team for the further journey. Thankfully you brought a large cache of items with you because a lot of them are needed right now. The new Vanilluze gobbles up both a Cheri and a Leppa berry, while a trusty Revive brings Infernape back into the fray. He's not looking so good though and appreciates a Leppa berry as well. Finally Slowking enjoys the effects of an Ether while you call Togekiss back into its Pokeball. It seems thankful to be avoiding the ice for at least a short time.

Frozen Hall: Guardian Battle

The Frozen Hall is a hollowed out room shaped like a sphere. Gigantic icicles stretch from the floor to the cieling, up about 25 feet. A frozen draft blows through the room, and as you continue through the snow gets stronger. You get the distinct feeling of being watched. Buried under the snow is a glimmering object that could be valuable. Thi part of the ice also seems to have some obsidian shards sticking out nearby, an odd feature for such a place, but who knows who has traversed the area? Do you place your hand in the snow?

Great, let's use this wimp as an opportunity to heal up. However, Infernape should take an Enigma Berry while Vanilluxe uses an Expert Belt. Also, how does Regenerator work? Shouldn't Slowking gain 10 HP every time it comes our of it's Pokeball? If so, that means it should have 30 extra HP.

Vanilluxe: Taunt~Flash Cannon IF Protect, THEN Chill and push actions back.
Infernape: Slack Off~Chill
Slowking: Slack Off~Chill (If slowking does regain 30 HP from regenerator, then change actions to Light Screen~Safeguard)

Your Pokemon continue to walk around with you throughout the run so Slowking hasn't been back in its Pokeball at all. Maybe if it was moved from your active team at some stage then I would allow the effects of Regenerator, but as of now it hasn't gained any HP. Also I'm very reluctant to let you change your items at the moment, especially given I gave you the opportunity in the last post. I will allow it this time but in future I will only allow it when I present it as an option in the "Player Options" section, ie not during the middle of an RP. The guardian RP technically started once you chose to grab or not to grab the item.

All of these attacks combined should leave Glalie an easy target to Capture, so for my next rounds, I would like to Throw a Lure Ball, and then a Sport Ball should the Lure Ball fail. And to help you out with those Calcs Deadfox, here are the capture chances (since I already did them for myself :P). These are assuming Mach Punch does not crit and deals 16 damage and 2 extra damage from two actions of Toxic.

Lure Ball: ((1 + (75 * 1.5 * (300 - 124))) / 256) / 300 = 0.257825521
Sport Ball: ((1 + (75 * 1.5 * 4 * (300 - 124))) / 256) / 300 = 1.03126302

Heal Ball: A Poke Ball that has an increased catch rate against Pokemon above 50% of their maximum HP. In certain roleplays where a Pokemon can be used as soon as it is captured, the Heal Ball heals them to full HP and energy when captured.

Cost: 5 | Catch Rate: 1x, 5x (>50% HP)
Does this count as substantiating evidence? I think that the increased catch rate is just some neat ASB thing.

EDIT: This is DarkSlay. Engineer is correct. Please re-do the capture sequence with the adjusted rate.

EDIT: Okay, thanks for putting up with me. I'll... umm... take the Razor Fang off of Cinccino and hand it to Kii the Sudowoodo. Smooth Rock, you're mine :p

You welcome Kii to the team, but Revenankh seems still somewhat annoyed with it. I suppose it did take part in knocking out two of her team members. Nevertheless the Sudowoodo gratefully takes the Razor Fang from you and you forge ahead.

Horn-scratched Tunnel

You come to a tunnel with noticeable scratch marks all over its sides. The Pokemon who live here have been slowly chipping away at the sides of the walls. You notice the tunnel is much wider than it is tall, the Pokemon apparently have little care for accommodating taller beings. From the looks of it though, this is a nest for the safety of younger Pokemon, even despite its scale. In order to continue you will have to purposely crouch down and enter the tunnel on your knees. Up ahead is a much larger hollow, where you suspect whatever watches over this den resides. In either case continuing could be risky

a) Crawl into the narrow burrow.

As for everyone else, Glalie will take the Expert Belt, Infernape will hold an Expert Belt, Slowking will use the Mystic Water, Togekiss will use an Enigma Berry and Vanilluxe will hold the NeverMeltIce. Also, I should have Five Aspear Berries from the earlier RP. Last but not least, Glalie, Slowking and Infernape will be the front members of my party.

This hollow has distinctly different marks, like a Pokemon has been chomping into the sides and spitting out the remains. This hollow actually has a glint of iron in it, though as you look further down the walls it becomes less and less noticable. Considering the area is so close to the hollow, you imagine its designed to keep whatever lives in this area out, at least to its best extent. You find a Rhyhorn cornered by two Lairon. As you enter, they each take notice, and Rhyhorn, seeing its chance to flee, runs back down from whence you came. The Lairon aren't pleased you interrupted their meal.

Uh, I don't entirely know where you're getting the Lum Berry or the second Expert Belt from here mate. If you could clear up the item use/distrubtion in your next post then I will get the team all sorted out. It won't make a difference for this short RP anyhow.

As you continue through the area you come to a frozen forest. You feel like you're in luck, as you look around you can see several Yache Berries
Bag_Yache_Berry_Sprite.png
hanging from trees. Given how cold this area is, it seems only natural to you that a berry that resists Ice would grow in such an inhospitable place. Still, the forest seems a bit too conveniently placed, and you get the distinct feeling that the plant life is as hostile as the chilling wind that has been bombarding you since you entered this abominable place.

Player Options:
a) Go for the berries.
b) Avoid the forest and continue one.

Sorry about that. Glalie will eat a PECHA berry, and Infernape will take an Enigma berry. Anyways, forget the Yache berries and precede towards Regice.

Spr_BW_Scientist_M.png

Another trap... and I can't even pilfer items! Their heaviness will deal a lot more damage to us, but Kii seems to know some extra moves...

Maila: Drain Punch (Lairon A) - Moonlight
IF (Lairon A is not below 35 HP on A2) THEN (Use Arm Thrust (Lairon A) instead)

Kii: Low Kick (Lairon A) - Low Kick (Lairon A)

Just a couple things that I want to make sure I'm right about; if any of this is wrong, please tell me. 1) Lairon's WC when calculating Low Kick is 10, and 2) Lairon B's HP is 90, not 96.

EDIT: Also, how would you classify this battle (lackey, nest, etc.)?

The Legend Run

In an attempt to be more organised I have also added a running tally of your rewards. They don't include ongoing battles (ie Engineer's nest) but if you could check they are at least approximately what you thought then that would be helpful.

You decide against going for the juicy berries, but you do pause to feed your new Glalie one of the Pecha Berries you had brought with you. Nothing of interest happens by ignoring the Yache's, but you do hear a faint rustling in the bushes. Additionally you take the time to exchange some of your Pokemon's hold items and work out which 3 will be carrying on.

Black (and White) Ice

You come to the most peculiar area you've seen yet. It's gotten even colder, such that all the color seems to have faded from every object. Half of this barren place is white, and the other half black. You continue down a corridor until you reach a dead end. You find yourself lost, and your reflection shows in each mirror. Each one beckons you forward, with three lights shining around you.

I hate to be a bitch, but I would like Slowking to take the Rocky Helmet instead of the Mystic Water. Thanks!

Hmm, white or black...

Well, most Ice Pokemon are White. However, Weavile is a black Ice Type, and if that is behind the black mirror, I would love to catch one for myself. So let's go for the Black Mirror!

Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.
Rock: Rock STAB; Reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

The black mirror engulfs you, and a shadow shifts around you from all sides. This is a very dark, chilling place. It's made worse by the sudden rush of water you hear, as Glalie is dragged off into the darkness by a whirlpool. You feel trapped and lost, but know you'll meet up if you keep your cool. Meanwhile Weavile sharpens its claws and glares at your Pokemon.

Weavile: Whirlpool > (4 + (2-3)*1.5) = 2.5 = 3 [3 DMG] [5 EN]
Weavile: Hone Claws > Weavile's Attack and Accuracy rose! [5 EN]
