Myrkul begins by protecting his entire team from an incoming attack, while Ulutiu fires another jet of hot water at the Sudowoodo. Ghaunananananadaur (God that's annoying to spell) decides to take a break, while Sudowoodo creates a massive tremour...Which...does nothing, because of one Myrkul blocking the attack...AND NOT PAYING ANY EXTRA ENERGY FOR IT!!! asdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdf...
Myrkul then leads an offensive charge, aiming low to strike the Sudowoodo, while Ulutiu fires a pulse of water which blasts it. Ghaunananananananananadaur then fires a red beam that drains more health from the Sudowoodo, who just sits there, looking as if she wants to kill herself.

So, you end up going through more staircases...When is this going to come to an end...Eventually, you see light at the end of the tunnel, & you enter this next room. Looks like you have come across an abandoned scrapyard. As you look around there seems to be little of value, however you imagine there's a few abandoned appliances here. You spot an array of broken down appliances. You could probably take one with you, it seems a Rotom used to inhabit it and it has enough energy to fit in one of your Pokeballs, at least until you leave. So, what shall you do?

Iron Dungeon - Iron Maiden
Unfortunately, more staircases await you as you struggle to surmount them. You can feel that you're getting higher up the tower at this point & eventually you come across another chamber. What you enter, is a bland, iron-coloured area with few defining features. This whole tower appears cold, hollow, and heavy, and this room is no exception. You come down the end of the hall to a dead end and find yourself frustrated. You look around and notice how wide the place is. This is a hall and must be at least 5 metres wide. The size of the place begins to make your heart sink. Sadly, the only thing left at the end of this hallway is a 3 metre tall statue of a woman in full battle dress. She holds a shield and a sword, but both look like they can be taken. The expression on the statue's face is entirely wooden, it appears she'll be displeased with any decision. Both objects look extraordinarily heavy but maybe you can use one of them, which one will you choose?

Myrkul begins with a pulsing look at the Sudowoodo which frightens he & subjects her to paralysis. Sudowoodo then tries to do some, but was too...scared. This leave her open for Ghaunadaur to fire a beam which steals health from her & leave the Sudowoodo in dire straits. Ulutiu doesn't care about this & takes a break for measure.
Myrkul then torments the Sudowoodo with a powerful glare that locks the Sudowoodo further into place, as Ulutiu telepathically enters the Sudowoodo's mind and tries to erase a move he hasn't seen, & the attack fails as a result. Ghaunadaur then goes into a stage of photosynthesis which allows him to recover even more health, & Sudowoodo tries to do something, but once again, stays in place, doing nothing.
So, Sudowoodo is basically...powerless. What shall you do? Issue your actions.

So you grab the sword, preferring Offence over Defence. You feel that despite being made of rock, it felt rather light. Then you went ahead like an idiot & slashed the sword around...

The Klang joins the Mawile, as the Mawile makes another intimidating cry, affecting your Pokemon. Looks like the stage is set, it's time to duel!

You throw the Lure Ball at the Sudowoodo & it makes contact. Sudowoodo goes inside, & the Lure Ball drops down & hits theground with a thud. At this point, the ball starts to shake about. First wobble, nothing. Second wobble, no signs of struggle. Third wobble, it's a rather relaxed-looking wobble, meaning the signs are very good, and before you know it, the Lure Ball stops shaking & comes to a rest. You pick up the Lure Ball & breathe a sigh of relief, knowing you had caught the Sudowoodo. The Sudowoodo was rather weak, though, but it didn't matter. Apart from the Smooth Rock that Sudowoodo was holding, you got nothing else, since Bolderdash's Heat Rock was technically consumed. Seeing nothing else, you move on to the next area.

Texas, just so you know, you can only make one chance/move sub per Pokemon against Guardians, so I'm ignoring the transfer protect sub, not that it really matters anyway...
TEXAS CLOVERLEAF Iron Dungeon - Iron Maiden
Sharky begins the bout by swirling holographic swords around himself which undo his attack loss. Behemoth then jolts the Mawile with a bolt of lightning which zaps the Mawile, enough to make her Paralysed, but Mawile stores the damage, & then releases it back in a silvery ball, which strikes Behemoth for quite a bit of damage. Klang then fires poisonous Sludge at Sharky which fatally poisons him.
Sharky, in rage, bites the Mawile with a burning fang, dealing damage, which Mawile stores. Behemoth also fires a stream of fire at the Mawile for more damage, which Mawile also stores. Klang then fires a blinding shot at Behemoth for more damage, just as Mawiloe was about to unleash all that stored energy...Only for the electricity in her body to strike at the wrong time, destroying all that stored energy & massively frustrating the Mawile.
So, Round end, & you really have dodged a massive bullet. Mawile had stored enough energy to finish off Behemoth, & hax denied it. Issue your actions.

__________________________ ZARATOR Rock Crag - Horn-Scratched Tunnel
You continue on your merry way through the crag, up the massive slopes, before suddenly coming across another area. This place is a tunnel with noticeable scratch marks all over its sides. The Pokemon who live here have been slowly chipping away at the sides of the walls. You notice the tunnel is much wider than it is tall, the Pokemon apparently have little care for accommodating taller beings. From the looks of it though, this is a nest for the safety of younger Pokemon, even despite its scale. In order to continue you will have to purposely crouch down and enter the tunnel on your knees. Up ahead is a much larger hollow, where you suspect whatever watches over this den resides. In either case continuing could be risky. Which hollow shall you take?
a) Crawl into the narrow burrow.
b) Go into the larger hollow.
Behemoth begins by throwing up a protective forcefield to sheild her from attacks, as Sharky burrows his way underground. Mawile tries to release...No Energy, as Sharky comes up again to strike Klang. Klang responds with a powerful beam of telekinetic energy which hits the forcefield & angering the Guardian.
Sharky makes another venture underground, as Behemoth, feeling exhausted, takes a break. Mawile then releases more nothing, as Klang, now sluggish, is incredibly exhausted after the combo fail. Sharky shortly rises back up & strikes Klang again, as Mawie's Paralysis ordeal ends.
So, thanks to a sub fail, you take very little damage, but by going first, you will probably not like what's coming next, & with only one sub...Okay, Issue your actions.

Feeling claustrophobic, you ignore the narrow burrow & decide to go into the larger hollow. Going through the hollow, you come out the other side & find a hollow that has distinctly different marks, like a Pokemon has been chomping into the sides and spitting out the remains. This hollow actually has a glint of iron in it, though as you look further down the walls it becomes less and less noticable. Considering the area is so close to the hollow, you imagine its designed to keep whatever lives in this area out, at least to its best extent. You find a Rhyhorn cornered by two Lairon. As you enter, they each take notice, and Rhyhorn, seeing its chance to flee, runs back down from whence you came. The Lairon aren't pleased you interrupted their meal & attack you. You send in your three Pokemon to counter & with the stage set, it was time to do battle.

Mawile then releases the energy on Behemoth, dealing a lot of damage, as Klang throws up a forcefield which protects Mawile from attacks. Sharky then comes up, only to do nothing, as the forcefield stopped Sharky from hitting Mawile.
Mawile then throws up a force field for herself, which prevents Sharky from striking her with a burning fang, & Behemoth zapping her with a jolt of electricity. Klang caps off the round by firing sludge at Behemoth, fatally poisoning her.

Your laugh about the prospect of the Lairon killing themselves soon stops as the two Lairon jump in unison, causing a massive tremour that hits your party for extra damage, but leaves the two Lairon unharmed. Ghaunadaur, feeling the impact, disables Effect Spore & takes a break, as Ulutiu fires a jet of hot water at one of the Lairons. Myrkul wasn't amused by the surprise attack & decides to counter attack, striking one of the Lairons with brute force.
Not satisfied, Myrkul then whacks the same Lairon with a punch that heals Myrkul a bit, as the two Lairon belly flop Myrkul, though not without consequence, as Myrkul wrapped bandages around the two, making them mummies for a while. Ghaunadaur then releases more spores at the non-weakened Lairon, Paralysing it, & Ulutiu rounds out by taking a break.

Sharky burrows his way underground as Mawile releases more nothing. Sharky then comes up & strikes the Klang, while Behemoth launches a massive stream of fire which finally finishes off the Klang, but came at a cost, as Behemoth simply crashed to the floor, exhausted & unable to continue.
Sharky then ventures undergorund while Mawile releases more nothing, then Sharky comes back up & strikes the Mawile, finishing her off.
So, you survived the Guardians, but things could've gone far worse. You only have Sharky left, & he's badly battered, bruised, & tired after the encounter. You nevertheless, pick up the two Mental Herbs that were lying there, & seeing nothing else worthy of note, you move onward to the next area, knowing the next battle you fight could very well be your last for this TLR...

Iron Dungeon - Steel Forest
Upon leaving the Iron Maiden, you go through...well...more staircases & at the end of it all, you come across a forest. This forest is the oddest structure you've ever seen. No, it's not the fact you're looking at a bunch of trees and grass in the middle of what to this point has been a bland, lifeless dungeon. It's more the fact that every single trunk, branch, and blade is made out of solid steel. It's still flexible enough for some semblance of wind to impact it, but otherwise this is the oddest combination of nature and hard metal you've ever seen.
Over to the side you see a thorny patch of grass blocking the way to the exit on the other side. It appears to be a nest of some sort, but the only other way around requires you to go through densely packed trees. Neither path looks safe, and as you look around you can here the inhabitants of the area swarming around you. Time to make a decision. So, which route do you go through?
a) Go through the thorny briar.
b) Go through the dense woods.

One of the Lairon's throws up a forcefield to protect herself, as Myrkul wallops the other Lairon with a punch that heals Myrkul up, only for Myrkul himself to be bandaged & become a Mummy. Ghaunadaur takes a break, as Ulutiu helps out Myrkul with a friendly beam of light. The other Lairon had actually stored the energy from Myrkul's attack & then unleashed it on Myrkul, dealing a lot of damage.
Myrkul then made a lightning quick punch that puts one of the Lairon's out of its misery, as Ulutiu takes a break. Ghaunadaur then releases some powerful spores which exhaust the remaining Lairon, putting him to sleep. The Lairon just spends the action sleeping peacefully.
So, round end, and well...Once again, you're murdering the opposition. Issue your actions.
